No. Once an airbag deploys, the inflator and bag are used up and can’t be repacked or reused safely. The bag itself must be replaced. What can often be reset instead of replaced is the airbag control module — that’s a separate service starting at $250.

I initially went to the dealership when the airbag light in my Nissan Rogue had come on. Upon diagnostic review, the dealership advised that it would cost around $4500 to correct the issues that they were seeing with the system.
