Welcome to LockNCal. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, your booking and purchase of any LockNCal services or products, your participation in LockNCal messaging programs, and any interaction with LockNCal technicians, contractors, representatives, or service providers. By accessing our website, submitting a form, booking, paying for, communicating with, or receiving services from LockNCal, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

IMPORTANT: These Terms work together with, and incorporate by reference, LockNCal’s Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Mail-In Service Terms & Conditions, and all service-specific disclosures, acknowledgments, authorizations, and electronic consents accepted during checkout or through any LockNCal form. If there is any conflict between these general Terms and a service-specific disclosure accepted by the customer, the most specific disclosure accepted for that service will control.


1) Company Information

“LockNCal,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to LockNCal LLC and its authorized owners, managers, technicians, contractors, representatives, and service providers. “You,” “your,” and “customer” refer to the individual, business, body shop, dealership, organization, or entity that accesses our website, submits a form, books, pays for, communicates about, or receives services from LockNCal.

2) Services Provided

LockNCal provides specialized mobile, on-site, electronic, and/or mail-in services related to vehicle safety, security, diagnostics, programming, and related automotive systems. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • ADAS calibration, including static and dynamic calibration where applicable
  • SRS/Airbag-related services, including airbag module reset services where applicable
  • Seat belt services, including repair and/or replacement, depending on the vehicle and condition
  • Module programming, including systems related to IMMO, Anti-Theft, Safety, and other vehicle systems, where applicable
  • Automotive locksmith services, including keys, key programming, emergency vehicle entry services, and all-keys-lost services where applicable
  • Scan-only vehicle diagnostics related to LockNCal services
  • Mail-in SRS airbag module reset services
  • Vehicle reports, including CARFAX or similar reports, were offered
  • Other related automotive safety, security, diagnostic, calibration, programming, and repair services were offered

Service availability varies by vehicle, condition, location, technician availability, tools, software access, OEM access, parts availability, weather, workspace, vehicle readiness, and other operational constraints. LockNCal may limit, decline, stop, pause, reschedule, or refuse service where permitted by Law or where LockNCal determines that service cannot reasonably, safely, legally, or properly be performed.


3) Customer Responsibilities: Accuracy, Access, Site Conditions, and Power

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information at the time of booking, quote request, service request, or communication with LockNCal. This may include, where applicable, the vehicle’s year, make, model, trim, VIN, key status, symptoms, installed part type, prior repair history, service location, contact information, proof of ownership, and any other information needed to evaluate or perform the requested service.

You agree to provide:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the vehicle
  • A vehicle that is present, accessible, and not blocked
  • A safe work environment for LockNCal personnel
  • Flat and level ground is required for calibration accuracy or safe service
  • A clean and spacious setup area when required
  • For ADAS-related work, approximately 2–3 parking spaces of clearance around the vehicle are needed
  • A vehicle with a good battery and stable voltage when required
  • Access to a power outlet when required, so LockNCal can connect to support equipment
  • A qualified person on-site to assist with the removal or reinstallation of parts when the booked service does not include that work
  • Correct, compatible, and properly installed parts where customer-supplied or third-party-installed parts are involved

If these requirements are not met, LockNCal may refuse, pause, stop, or reschedule service. In those cases, all payments remain final and non-refundable unless LockNCal expressly states otherwise in writing.


4) Proof of Ownership and Authorization

For certain services, including but not limited to locksmith services, key services, IMMO-related services, Anti-Theft services, Safety-related programming, module programming, and other vehicle-security-related requests, LockNCal may require proof of ownership or authorization before service is performed.

Acceptable documentation may include a current government-issued photo ID along with one or more of the following: title, registration, proof of insurance, bill of sale, repair order, work order, dealership documentation, business authorization, fleet authorization, or other reasonable documentation demonstrating authority over the vehicle.

If you cannot provide acceptable documentation, LockNCal may refuse service. In that event, the booking remains final and non-refundable unless LockNCal expressly states otherwise in writing.


5) Pricing, Quotes, and Additional Charges

  • Pricing varies: Pricing may vary based on vehicle configuration, service type, service location, parts availability, service complexity, technician availability, software access, OEM access, and the vehicle’s actual condition at the time of service.
  • Quotes are conditional: Quotes may be based on information you provide. If the actual vehicle condition, installed parts, required procedures, missing components, or service complexity differ from what was disclosed, the quote may change.
  • Additional charges: Some vehicles require additional procedures, parts, programming, calibrations, labor, travel, setup time, diagnostic time, or support services to complete the requested service. If additional items are required, LockNCal will present a quote for approval before continuing when reasonably possible.
  • Declining additional required items: If you decline required additional items or charges, LockNCal may stop service. All prior payments remain final and non-refundable.
  • Immediate payment: Additional charges approved by the customer may be due immediately before work continues.

6) Payments and All Sales Final

All sales are final. By paying, booking, submitting an order, or authorizing service, you agree to LockNCal’s Return & Refund Policy and all service-specific disclosures accepted at checkout or through any LockNCal form.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. LockNCal does not control third-party payment processor systems, fees, approvals, delays, or security procedures.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services rendered, attempted services, reserved appointment capacity, accepted disclosures, disclosed limitations, diagnostic findings, customer no-shows, customer cancellations, customer scheduling conflicts, customer-provided incorrect information, unmet site conditions, incompatible parts, vehicle defects, failed programming due to vehicle condition, or circumstances outside LockNCal’s control.

LockNCal may contest improper chargebacks using booking records, accepted disclosures, payment records, technician notes, communications, photographs, video, diagnostic reports, service evidence, signed documents, and other supporting documentation.


7) SMS/RCS Messaging Terms

Program Name: LockNCal Messaging

Program Description: LockNCal Messaging may include service-related and promotional messages sent by SMS, MMS, and/or RCS. Service-related messages may include appointment confirmations, booking updates, service reminders, technician dispatch updates, technician arrival updates, estimates, payment links, service updates, invoice-related communications, customer support messages, missed-call follow-ups, and follow-ups for requested LockNCal services. Promotional messages may include service offers, reminders, updates, discounts, seasonal promotions, and marketing messages about LockNCal automotive services.

LockNCal services may include, but are not limited to, automotive locksmith services, ADAS calibration, module programming, vehicle diagnostics, airbag module reset, seat belt replacement, mail-in airbag module reset, and related automotive safety and security services.

Opt-In Consent: By checking the applicable SMS/RCS consent checkbox on a LockNCal website form, booking form, quote request form, contact form, service request form, or other opt-in form, you agree to receive SMS, MMS, and/or RCS messages from LockNCal at the mobile number you provide.

Separate Consent for Different Message Types: If LockNCal provides separate consent options for service-related messages and promotional or marketing messages, each message category may have its own separate checkbox, toggle, or consent option. You may choose which categories of messages you agree to receive. Service-related messaging consent and promotional or marketing messaging consent may be collected separately.

Standalone SMS/RCS Consent: SMS/RCS consent is separate from other forms of communication. Consent to receive SMS/RCS messages does not automatically consent to receive email marketing, voice calls, or other communication channels unless separately disclosed and accepted.

Optional Consent: SMS/RCS opt-in is optional. Consent to receive SMS/RCS messages is not required as a condition of purchase.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.

HELP Instructions: Reply HELP for help. You may also contact LockNCal customer care by phone at (469) 277-7277 or by email at info@lockncal.com.

STOP Instructions: Reply STOP to cancel. After you reply STOP, you may receive a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS/RCS messages from that sender unless you opt back in.

Resubscribe Instructions: You may reply START to resubscribe where supported.

Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No Third-Party Sharing of Mobile Numbers or Opt-In Data: Mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, and SMS/RCS consent information will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for any purpose.


8) LockNCal Rescheduling, Delays, and Operational Interruptions

LockNCal reserves the right to reschedule any appointment at any time, including on short notice, if LockNCal determines in its sole discretion that conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, impractical, unavailable, or operationally impossible for the requested service.

This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving:

  • Weather conditions such as rain, lightning, hail, flooding, strong wind, extreme heat, extreme cold, ice, or other hazardous conditions
  • Unsafe road or travel conditions
  • Service vehicle breakdown, accident, transportation failure, or travel delay
  • Technician illness, injury, emergency, absence, or staffing shortage
  • Equipment failure, tool malfunction, software/platform downtime, OEM server issues, internet issues, or power-related interruptions
  • Prior appointments are running longer than expected
  • Unsafe, blocked, unprepared, or unsuitable customer site conditions
  • Lack of required power access, workspace, level ground, vehicle readiness, or vehicle access
  • Parts issues, incompatible parts, missing parts, incorrect parts, or customer-supplied parts that prevent completion
  • Any other circumstance beyond LockNCal’s reasonable control

If LockNCal reschedules an appointment for any of the reasons above, no refund will be issued. The appointment will instead be moved to LockNCal’s next available date and time, subject to scheduling availability.

If the new date or time offered by LockNCal does not work for you, you may request another available appointment slot from LockNCal’s then-current availability. LockNCal does not guarantee any specific replacement date or time, same-week service, expedited priority, or the assignment of a particular technician.

If you do not accept or respond to the rescheduling notice within 72 hours, LockNCal may release the appointment slot and place the booking on hold until you respond. No refund will be issued.

LockNCal may notify you of any rescheduling or delay via email, phone call, text message, RCS message, or other contact method using the contact information provided at the time of booking.


9) Customer Cancellations and Rescheduling Requests

LockNCal does not offer cancellations once a service is booked and paid for. Customer-requested reschedules are not guaranteed and may be granted only at LockNCal’s discretion, subject to availability and possible additional fees.

No refunds are issued for cancellation requests, no-shows, missed appointments, customer delays, customer scheduling conflicts, lack of vehicle access, incorrect service location, failure to provide required information, failure to provide proof of ownership, or unmet site conditions.


10) Scope Limits: Execution, Not Guaranteed Results

You understand that many LockNCal services involve complex vehicle electronics, safety systems, security systems, OEM procedures, programming dependencies, network communication, and vehicle-specific conditions.

Successful completion depends on multiple factors, including but not limited to vehicle condition, correct prior repairs, correct parts, proper installation, stable voltage, module communication, network integrity, software access, OEM server availability, manufacturer procedure requirements, absence of hidden faults, and cooperation from customer-provided parts or systems.

Unless LockNCal expressly agrees otherwise in writing, you are paying for professional time and attempted or performed service, not guaranteed results or guaranteed resolution of every issue.

LockNCal is not obligated to provide electrical pinpoint troubleshooting, root-cause diagnostics, wiring repair, harness tracing, network integrity mapping, or repair recommendations unless you book a service that expressly includes those tasks.


11) Parts Policy

All parts sales are final. Parts are non-returnable and non-exchangeable through LockNCal unless LockNCal expressly states otherwise in writing.

Unless otherwise specified, LockNCal may use OEM refurbished and/or aftermarket parts. If you request new OEM parts, where available, you must disclose that request at booking or during the quote process, and an adjusted quote may apply.

Customer-supplied, used, refurbished, aftermarket, incorrect, damaged, incompatible, water-damaged, previously programmed, or improperly installed parts may prevent successful completion of service. LockNCal is not responsible for the quality, condition, compatibility, coding history, installation quality, or performance of customer-supplied or third-party-supplied parts.

LockNCal is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer and does not claim manufacturer certification unless expressly stated in writing for a specific service. Manufacturer warranties, if any, are handled according to the applicable supplier or manufacturer terms, not by LockNCal unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.


12) Module Programming Time Policy

For module programming services, the booked service includes up to 2 hours of on-site programming time unless otherwise stated in writing. If more time is required, LockNCal may pause the service and request approval to continue.

Additional time is billed at $175 per hour in 30-minute increments ($87.50 per half hour), and payment is due immediately upon approval before work continues.

If you decline additional time, the service may stop, and all prior payments remain final and non-refundable.


13) Diagnostic Services

Unless otherwise stated in writing, LockNCal diagnostic services are scan-only and limited to systems related to LockNCal’s services, typically SRS/Airbag, ADAS, Anti-Theft, IMMO, safety systems, and related modules.

Diagnostic services do not include full-vehicle diagnosis, misfire diagnosis, general engine diagnosis, drivability diagnosis, emissions diagnosis, or time-intensive electrical troubleshooting such as harness tracing, open/short testing, voltage-drop testing, or network integrity mapping.

Diagnostic findings reflect what the vehicle reports at the time of inspection and do not guarantee the root cause, repair path, future performance, or successful completion of any future service.


14) Limited Labor Guarantee: 30 Days, Labor Only

LockNCal provides a limited 30-day labor/workmanship guarantee for labor performed by LockNCal only, unless a different written guarantee is expressly provided for a specific service.

This guarantee does not cover parts, customer-supplied parts, third-party parts, pre-existing vehicle conditions, wiring faults, electrical faults, communication/network faults, corrosion, water intrusion, flood damage, new accidents, tampering, misuse, third-party repairs, improper installation by others, aftermarket modifications, software/OEM server issues, module failures, vehicle defects, or issues outside LockNCal’s control.

This guarantee does not cover consequential damages, including towing, rental vehicles, downtime, storage, missed work, lost income, lost profits, inconvenience, or other indirect damages.


15) Recording, Documentation, and Content Use

LockNCal may photograph, film, audio-record, document, scan, or otherwise record service work, vehicle conditions, part conditions, customer-provided information, work areas, completed work, diagnostic results, and communication records for documentation, quality control, training, internal use, dispute prevention, chargeback defense, safety, and marketing/advertising purposes, as described in disclosures accepted at checkout or through LockNCal forms.

By booking, paying, authorizing, or receiving services, you grant the rights described in those disclosures unless LockNCal has expressly agreed otherwise in writing before payment.


16) Vehicle Reports and Electronic Deliverables

Any digital report, including CARFAX or similar vehicle history reports, that is offered is delivered electronically only. Delivery times are estimates unless otherwise stated. No physical copies are provided unless LockNCal expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

All report purchases are final and non-refundable. LockNCal is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, omissions, delays, or third-party data limitations contained in reports generated or supplied by third-party data providers.


17) Mail-In Services

Mail-in services, including mail-in airbag module reset services, where offered, may be subject to separate Mail-In Service Terms & Conditions. By purchasing or using any mail-in service, you agree to those mail-in terms in addition to these Terms.

You are responsible for properly removing, packaging, labeling, shipping, and protecting mailed items unless LockNCal expressly states otherwise in writing. LockNCal is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, incorrect addresses, shipping damage, improper packaging, incomplete customer information, or damage caused before the item reaches LockNCal.


18) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to towing costs, rental vehicle costs, missed work, lost income, lost profits, storage fees, delay-related losses, downtime, inconvenience, loss of use, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by Law, LockNCal is not liable for issues arising from pre-existing mechanical or electrical conditions, faulty wiring, aftermarket modifications, manufacturer defects, prior collision damage, water intrusion, corrosion, weak battery or low-voltage conditions, module or network communication faults, improper prior repairs, third-party parts, customer-supplied parts, incorrect parts, missing parts, or vehicle conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, LockNCal’s total liability is limited to the amount the customer paid for the specific service at issue.


19) Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics, images, videos, page design, forms, documents, service descriptions, disclosures, branding elements, and other materials, is the property of LockNCal or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, republished, or exploited without prior written permission.


20) Third-Party Platforms, Links, and Services

LockNCal may use third-party platforms, tools, payment processors, scheduling systems, mapping tools, diagnostic platforms, OEM systems, data providers, hosting providers, email providers, and other service providers to operate the business and provide services.

LockNCal is not responsible for third-party outages, delays, errors, policy changes, billing issues, account restrictions, data limitations, or platform failures outside LockNCal’s reasonable control.

Nothing in this section changes LockNCal’s SMS/RCS privacy commitment. Mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, and SMS/RCS consent information will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for any purpose.


21) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.


22) Venue and Forum

To the fullest extent permitted by Law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, LockNCal’s website, LockNCal messaging programs, LockNCal products, or LockNCal services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the county in Texas where LockNCal’s principal place of business is located. The parties consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.


23) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or unlawful, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by Law.


24) No Waiver

LockNCal’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.


25) Changes to These Terms

LockNCal may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website, forms, messaging programs, products, or services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The website was easy to navigate and I found the service I needed and was able to book the perfect time between work. The technician messaged me a day early letting me know that he would be in the area and gave me the option to get it taken care of early but unfortunately I was working. If I hadn't been that would have been amazing to get it done ahead of time. He was on time and very pleasant. Worked quickly and got my problem taken care of. It was such a better experience than sitting in a waiting room with strangers or having to take an Uber back and forth to avoid such situation. I'm already recommending them to my friends because of how easy it was. Why go to a shop to get your car fixed at the shop can just come to you?
