LockNCal Automotive Locksmith Service (Texas) – Proof of Ownership, Key Type, Variable Pricing & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Automotive locksmith services involve access to a vehicle and its security/immobilizer system. To protect vehicle owners and operate responsibly in Texas, LockNCal requires identity and ownership verification before performing any service. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Proof of Ownership / Authorization (Required Before Service)

• Required documents (individual customer): I must present a current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or other valid ID) plus one of the following that shows I am authorized for the vehicle:
  • Vehicle title, or
  • Current registration, or
  • Current proof of insurance
• Matching requirement: The Name on the ownership/insurance/registration documentation must reasonably match the person requesting service, or I must provide written authorization showing I am allowed to request service for the vehicle.
• Business/fleet/auction/dealership/shop requests: If service is requested by a business, fleet, auction, dealership, or repair shop, LockNCal requires:
  • Authorized representative’s current photo ID, and
  • Vehicle ownership/authorization documentation (title/registration/insurance/bill of sale as applicable), and
  • A work order, repair order, or bill of sale showing the vehicle is under that entity’s control/authorization.
• Service refusal: If I cannot provide acceptable proof of ownership/authorization at the appointment, LockNCal may refuse service. In that case, I understand the booking remains final and non-refundable because capacity and dispatch time were reserved for my appointment.
• Verification record: I authorize LockNCal to reasonably document verification (for example: recording the ID type, last Name, and verifying documents). LockNCal is not required to perform service if anything appears inconsistent or suspicious.

2) Key Type Policy (Aftermarket Default / OEM by Request)

• Default keys: I understand LockNCal will quote and provide aftermarket keys by default.
• OEM option: If I want OEM keys, I must clearly request “OEM Keys” in the booking notes before submitting the form.
• Adjusted quote: If I request OEM keys, an adjusted quote (including additional charges) will be sent via text within 48 business hours of my submission of the booking form (excluding weekends/holidays).
• Parts control: For quality control and security reasons, LockNCal may require the use of keys/remotes supplied through LockNCal’s sourcing. If a special situation exists, I understand I must contact LockNCal before booking.

3) Variable Procedures, Additional Charges, and Payment Timing

• Not all vehicles are “standard”: I understand that some require additional steps beyond standard locksmith procedures (security access, additional programming, special immobilizer procedures, vehicle-specific requirements, etc.).
• Additional charges may apply: If my vehicle requires additional procedures, parts, or labor, LockNCal will notify me of the additional charges. I understand these charges must be approved and paid before the service is completed.
• Example – All Keys Lost (AKL) may require 2 keys: I understand that some vehicles require two (2) new keys to be programmed when all keys are lost. If I book a service for one (1) key and my vehicle requires two (2), I agree that the fee for the additional key will be collected on-site before the service is completed.
• If I decline additional required items: If I decline required additional parts/procedures (including a second key when required), I understand the service may be stopped, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

4) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to eligibility or outcomes: I agree that no refund is owed if service is refused due to missing/insufficient ownership documents, a mismatch of information, an inability to safely perform the service, parts availability, vehicle condition, or any vehicle/security-system limitation outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves appointment capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5) Scope of Service – Execution Only (No Guarantee of Results)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for locksmith services to cut/program/provide keys as booked (execution), not for guaranteed results or guaranteed resolution of every vehicle issue.
• No guarantee of full functionality: Some vehicles may have pre-existing electrical, immobilizer, module, wiring, or network issues that prevent successful programming or full remote functionality. LockNCal is not responsible for prior repairs/diagnostics performed by others or pre-existing conditions.

6) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to access the vehicle as needed to perform the booked locksmith service (including connecting diagnostic/programming equipment and performing key programming procedures as applicable).
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding quotes, approvals, additional required charges, and service updates.

By proceeding with booking and payment, I electronically sign and agree to this disclosure and authorization.

LockNCal Vehicle Module Programming (Texas) – Proof of Ownership, Overage Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Some programming requests involve the vehicle’s immobilizer (IMMO), anti-theft system, security access, and/or safety systems. For legal compliance and customer protection in Texas, LockNCal requires identity and ownership verification before performing any module programming service. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Proof of Ownership / Authorization (Required Before Service)

• Required documents (individual customer): I must present a current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or other valid ID) plus one of the following that shows I am authorized for the vehicle:
  • Vehicle title, or
  • Current registration, or
  • Current proof of insurance.
• Matching requirement: The Name/details on the documents must reasonably match the person requesting service and/or confirm the vehicle's authorization. If the vehicle is not in my Name, I must provide clear written authorization demonstrating that I am authorized to request programming for the vehicle.
• Business/fleet/auction/dealership/shop requests: If service is requested by a business entity, LockNCal requires:
  • Authorized representative’s current photo ID, and
  • Vehicle ownership/authorization documentation (title/registration/insurance/bill of sale as applicable), and
  • A work order, repair order, or bill of sale showing the vehicle is under that entity’s control/authorization.
• Service refusal: If I cannot provide acceptable proof of ownership/authorization at the appointment, LockNCal may refuse service. In that case, I understand the booking remains final and non-refundable.

2) Preconditions (What Must Be True Before Programming Can Succeed)

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm all required repairs related to the system being programmed have been completed in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Correct part and correct installation: I confirm the installed module has the correct part number for my vehicle configuration and is properly installed, with all required connectors, grounds, fuses, sensors, and related components intact.
• Vehicle readiness: I understand programming may fail due to low voltage/battery issues, wiring/network faults (CAN/LIN/FlexRay), aftermarket electronics, corrosion/water intrusion, collision damage, missing components, unresolved faults, security/immobilizer restrictions, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

3) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted programming/configuration of a module (execution), not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee the vehicle will be “fixed”: Programming may or may not resolve vehicle symptoms. Results depend on prior diagnostics, repairs, part correctness, installation quality, stable voltage, network communication, and vehicle condition.
• No diagnostic obligation: I understand the LockNCal technician is not obligated to diagnose root causes or provide repair recommendations if programming fails or cannot be completed. Diagnostic services (if offered) must be booked separately.

4) Variable Complexity and Additional Charges

• Complexity varies: I understand additional charges may be required depending on the type of programming requested and vehicle-specific procedures (including IMMO/anti-theft involvement, security access, additional relearns, or other required steps).
• Approval required: If additional charges are required, the technician will inform me of the costs before proceeding. If I decline, service may be stopped, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

5) Time Policy (2 Hours Included + Overage Approval)

• Included time: The booked programming service includes up to 2 hours of on-site programming time.
• Hard stop after included time: If the service exceeds 2 hours for any reason, LockNCal will pause work and request authorization to continue.
• Overage rate: Additional time is billed at $175 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments ($87.50 per half hour). Payment is due immediately upon approval before work continues.
• If I decline or do not respond: If I decline additional time (or do not respond within a reasonable time), I understand that the service may be stopped and that the booking remains final and non-refundable.

6) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or eligibility: I understand there will be no refund if programming fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including missing/insufficient proof of ownership, incomplete repairs, incorrect/defective modules, incorrect installation, vehicle condition, security restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7) Return Visit / Re-Appointment Policy

• New booking required: If programming cannot be completed and I want a technician to return after repairs or conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new appointment and pay a new service fee.

8) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect diagnostic/programming equipment to my vehicle, perform programming attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding quotes, approvals, overage charges, and service updates.

By proceeding with booking and payment, I electronically sign and agree to this disclosure and authorization.

LockNCal ADAS Calibration – Master Disclosure, Programming Prerequisites, Site Requirements, Power Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: ADAS calibration is a precision safety procedure that depends on proper OEM repairs, correct sensor installation and alignment, stable vehicle communication, and a suitable work environment. Many ADAS components also require programming/coding before calibration is possible. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Preconditions – OEM Repairs Must Be Completed First

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm that all necessary repairs have been performed in accordance with the OEM manufacturer’s requirements before LockNCal arrives to calibrate.
• Calibration depends on correct installation: If any ADAS sensor, bracket, module, camera, radar, bumper/grille component, mounting point, or related part is damaged, loose, incorrectly installed, or misaligned, I understand the calibration may fail or be impossible until those issues are corrected.

2) Disassembly / Reassembly Is Not Included (Bumpers, Grilles, Trim, Etc.)

• No R&I included: LockNCal and its technicians are not responsible for removing or reinstalling parts to access sensors/cameras/radars (including, but not limited to, bumpers, grilles, trim panels, undercovers, interior panels, brackets, or related components).
• Customer/shop support required: The individual or business requesting service must provide a qualified person on-site to assist with any required removal and installation of parts. If no assistance is available, the calibration may be delayed, stopped, or cancelled.

3) Sensor/Module Alignment Is Not Included

• Calibration requires correct alignment: If a sensor/module is misaligned, I understand the individual or business that hired LockNCal is responsible for having the sensor/module corrected and aligned to OEM specifications before LockNCal can calibrate.
• Not a body/repair correction service: LockNCal performs calibration; it does not provide body repair, bracket/structural correction, or mount alignment unless explicitly quoted and booked as a separate service (if available).

4) Programming/Coding Prerequisite (Common ADAS “Hidden Requirement”)

• Calibration may require programming first: I understand that if a sensor, camera, or module has been replaced, it may require programming/coding/initialization to the vehicle before an ADAS calibration can be completed.
• No programming = no calibration: If the vehicle requires programming and it has not been completed (or cannot be completed), I understand the ADAS calibration cannot be completed.
• Additional cost: Programming/coding is a separate service and will be billed separately. LockNCal may offer module programming as an added service (if available) and will provide pricing for approval before proceeding.
• Recommendation to prevent wasted bookings: If I replaced any sensor, camera, or module (or I’m not sure), I understand LockNCal strongly recommends booking a Vehicle Diagnostic and/or Module Programming service first, so I know the full scope and cost before attempting calibration.

5) Used/Aftermarket Parts Warning (Compatibility Risk)

• OEM is strongly recommended: I understand that ADAS systems are sensitive and that OEM parts are required for reliable programming and calibration.
• Used/aftermarket may not work: If I installed a used or aftermarket sensor/camera/module, I understand that, in many cases, it may be incompatible, locked, unprogrammable, or not support successful calibration.
• No guarantee: LockNCal does not guarantee successful programming or calibration when used with aftermarket ADAS components.

6) Vehicle Readiness Requirements (Including Plate for Dynamic Calibrations)

• Street-legal requirement for dynamic calibrations: If the calibration requires driving, I understand the vehicle must have a valid, current license plate so the technician can perform the dynamic calibration without delay.
• Power and communication: I understand calibrations can fail due to low voltage, weak battery, charging system issues, blown fuses, wiring faults, module faults, CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication problems, aftermarket electronics, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

7) Power Policy (Non-Negotiable)

• Good battery required: I understand the vehicle must have a good, working battery. This is non-negotiable. If the battery/voltage is unstable, LockNCal may refuse or stop the service to prevent module damage or inaccurate results.
• Access to power required: I agree to provide access to an on-site power source (standard outlet) so LockNCal can connect its power maintainer/support equipment during calibration and/or programming.
• LockNCal provides the maintainer: I understand LockNCal will bring its own power maintainer, but I must provide access to power at the location.

8) Site/Work Area Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Indoor preferred/outdoor sometimes necessary: LockNCal prefers to perform calibrations indoors due to wind and weather elements; however, I understand indoor space is not always available, and calibrations may need to be performed outdoors when conditions allow.
• Required conditions: The vehicle must be positioned in a flat, level area. The surrounding area must be clean and reasonably free of debris/obstructions that could affect setup.
• “Spacious” defined: I understand “spacious” means there must be approximately 2–3 vehicle parking spaces of clearance around the vehicle being calibrated to safely set up equipment and perform the procedure correctly.
• If site requirements are not met: If the location does not meet these requirements (insufficient space, uneven ground, unclean/unsafe area, no power access, etc.), LockNCal may stop/cancel the service. In that case, the booking remains final and non-refundable.

9) Weather Policy (Reschedule, Not Refund)

• Weather may prevent outdoor calibration: If calibration must be performed outdoors and weather conditions (including rain or unsafe conditions) prevent proper calibration, LockNCal will reschedule the calibration for a later date/time when conditions are suitable and a technician is available.
• No extra charge for weather rescheduling: If calibration cannot be performed due to weather, LockNCal will reschedule at no additional charge.
• No refunds: This is a reschedule policy only; no refunds are issued.

10) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted execution of the booked ADAS calibration procedure, not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee of completion: LockNCal cannot guarantee completion if calibration cannot be performed due to incomplete repairs, improper installation/alignment, missing programming/coding, electrical issues, communication problems, OEM restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: LockNCal and its technicians are not obligated to diagnose the vehicle or provide repair recommendations. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

11) Additional Charges for Programming, Delays, Rework, or Extra Requirements

• Added services may be required: If the vehicle requires programming/coding, additional procedures, or other prerequisites to complete calibration, I understand additional charges may apply.
• Delays create added cost: If service is delayed due to missing prerequisites (repairs not complete, parts not removed, misalignment not corrected, poor site conditions, weak battery, missing plate for dynamic calibration, no power access, etc.), additional charges may apply.
• Approval required: LockNCal will notify me of any additional charges before proceeding. If I decline required charges, service may stop, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

12) Re-Appointment / Return Visit Policy

• New booking required: If LockNCal cannot complete the calibration due to missing prerequisites or vehicle conditions, and I want LockNCal to return after conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new online appointment and pay a new service fee.

13) If I Don’t Know What the Vehicle Needs – Diagnostic First

• Diagnostic strongly recommended: If I am not 100% sure what the vehicle needs (calibration vs. programming vs. replacement), I understand I should book a Vehicle Diagnostic first so LockNCal can determine the correct path.
• Quote and payment before calibration: After diagnosis (if booked), a proper quote will be provided and must be paid before the technician starts calibration and/or programming.

14) Services Offered (Read Carefully Before Booking)

• Static calibrations currently offered: At this time, LockNCal only provides the following static ADAS calibration services:
  • Front Radar Calibration
  • Windshield Camera Calibration
  • Rear Bumper Corner Sensor Calibration
• Dynamic calibrations: LockNCal can also perform dynamic calibrations (where permitted and where vehicle readiness and legal road requirements are met).
• Booking the wrong service: If I book an ADAS calibration service that LockNCal does not currently offer as a static calibration, the booking remains final and non-refundable. If I am unsure, I understand a diagnostic is strongly recommended.

15) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or prerequisites: I understand there will be no refund if calibration fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including incomplete repairs, misalignment, missing access/assistance, missing programming/coding, incompatible used/aftermarket parts, poor worksite conditions, electrical/communication issues, software limitations, missing/invalid license plate for required road testing, no power access, weak battery/unstable voltage, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to set up calibration equipment, connect diagnostic tools, connect power support equipment, perform calibration attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding service status, approvals, additional charges, rescheduling due to weather, and service updates.

By proceeding with booking and payment, I electronically sign and agree to this disclosure and authorization.

LockNCal Vehicle Diagnostic (Scan-Only) – Master Disclosure, 1-Hour Limit & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Modern vehicles contain complex, interconnected electronic systems. This service is a scan-only diagnostic focused on the specific safety and security systems LockNCal supports. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Scope of Diagnostic (Scan-Only / Specialty Systems Only)

• Scan-only diagnostic: I understand LockNCal will perform a computer scan of applicable modules and capture fault codes/data related to the system's LockNCal services.
• Systems covered: This diagnostic is limited to:
  • SRS/Airbag systems
  • ADAS systems
  • Anti-Theft / Immobilizer (IMMO) systems
  • Related safety/security modules and communication relevant to those systems
• Not a full-vehicle diagnostic: I understand this service is not intended to diagnose unrelated systems such as engine/drivability (misfires), transmission, HVAC, suspension, general mechanical issues, or general electrical issues outside the covered systems.
• No electrical troubleshooting: I understand that LockNCal does not perform time-intensive electrical diagnostics such as harness tracing, open/short testing, parasitic-draw testing, corrosion hunts, or network-integrity mapping. If my issue requires that type of testing, I may need an automotive electrical specialist.

2) 1-Hour Maximum Service Window (Hard Cap)

• Time limit: I understand this diagnostic service is limited to 1 hour on-site.
• What the hour covers: The hour includes connecting scan tools, scanning applicable modules, documenting results, and providing scan findings related to the covered systems.
• No extended diagnostic work: If the vehicle requires additional time due to communication issues, low voltage, severe network faults, missing modules, or any other complication, I understand LockNCal may stop at the 1-hour limit and recommend next steps. Any further work requires booking and paying for a separate service appointment.

3) What I Will Receive (Report of Findings)

• Scan report/fault list: I understand LockNCal can provide a report/list of fault codes and findings discovered during the scan related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• Results are condition-dependent: Results depend on vehicle voltage, module communication, prior repairs, and whether unresolved faults prevent certain modules from communicating.

4) No Guaranteed Solutions (Scan Results ≠ Guaranteed Fix)

• No guarantee of root cause: I understand scan results indicate what the vehicle is reporting, but they do not always identify the exact root cause. LockNCal does not guarantee 100% accuracy or an exact repair path from a scan-only diagnostic.
• Network complexity: I understand one failure may hide another. After one issue is repaired, additional issues may appear or become visible once communication is restored.
• Electrical pinpointing excluded: Even if a fault relates to a system LockNCal specializes in, if the underlying cause requires electrical pinpoint testing, I understand LockNCal may not be able to identify exactly where the electrical failure is located under this scan-only service.

5) Relationship to Repairs (Separate Services + Separate Pricing)

• Diagnostic does not include repairs: I understand this booking is for diagnostic scanning time only. Any programming, calibration, parts replacement, or additional service is separate and requires a separate quote and payment approval before work begins.
• Recommendation: If I am unsure whether I need programming, calibration, replacement, or multiple steps, I understand scan-only diagnostic is the recommended first step to reduce misunderstandings and unnecessary charges.

6) Appointment Readiness

• Vehicle access: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time and will be accessible for scan (OBD2 access).
• Voltage and communication limitations: I understand low battery voltage, blown fuses, aftermarket electronics, collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or prior work performed by others may prevent scanning or limit results.

7) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to findings or limitations: I understand there will be no refund if the scan reveals issues outside LockNCal’s scope, if modules will not communicate, if results are limited by vehicle condition, or if additional specialized electrical testing is required beyond this service.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8) Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including towing, rental car costs, loss of use, downtime, or lost income).
• If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, liability is limited to the amount paid for the diagnostic service.

9) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect scan equipment to my vehicle, scan applicable modules, and document fault codes/data related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding findings and quotes for additional services (if applicable).

By proceeding with booking and payment, I electronically sign and agree to this disclosure and authorization.

LockNCal Airbag Module Reset – Master Disclosure & Authorization

IMPORTANT: This service involves vehicle safety systems (SRS/airbags/pretensioners). By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) What My Booking Payment Covers (Dispatch + Diagnostic + Attempt)

• Service-call / dispatch fee: The amount paid at booking covers the technician's dispatch to my location, access to the vehicle’s OBD2 port, professional scanning/diagnostics of the SRS system, and a reset attempt, where applicable.
• Not a guaranteed outcome: I understand I am paying for time, travel, diagnosis, and attempted service — not a guaranteed reset, repair, or “no warning light” result.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back this payment for reasons related to the outcome (including non-resettable modules, required module removal, or other faults found), because LockNCal dispatched a technician, performed diagnostic labor, and attempted service as applicable.

2) OBD2 Reset vs. Module Removal vs. Replacement

• OBD2 reset is sometimes possible: In many vehicles, the airbag module can be reset through the OBD2 port. However, some vehicles require removing the airbag module to complete the reset.
• 80/20 estimate (not a promise): Approximately 80% of the time, the reset can be completed via OBD2, and approximately 20% of the time, the module must be removed. This is only an estimate and not a guarantee.
• Some modules cannot be reset: I understand that some airbag modules are not resettable and must be replaced.
• LockNCal cannot confirm requirements until diagnosis: LockNCal cannot determine whether my vehicle requires module removal, replacement, or additional repairs until the vehicle is scanned and diagnosed in person.
• If module removal is required: If diagnosis confirms module removal is required, I may choose:
  • To remove/reinstall the module myself (at my own risk and responsibility), or
  • To request that LockNCal perform module removal/reinstallation as an additional service for an additional charge (if available for my vehicle and situation).

1) Proof of Ownership / Authorization (Required Before Service)

• Required documents (individual customer): I must present a current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or other valid ID) plus one of the following that shows I am authorized for the vehicle:
  • Vehicle title, or
  • Current registration, or
  • Current proof of insurance
• Matching requirement: The Name on the ownership/insurance/registration documentation must reasonably match the person requesting service, or I must provide written authorization showing I am allowed to request service for the vehicle.
• Business/fleet/auction/dealership/shop requests: If service is requested by a business, fleet, auction, dealership, or repair shop, LockNCal requires:

5) Scope of Service – Execution Only (No Guarantee of Results)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for locksmith services to cut/program/provide keys as booked (execution), not for guaranteed results or guaranteed resolution of every vehicle issue.
• No guarantee of full functionality: Some vehicles may have pre-existing electrical, immobilizer, module, wiring, or network issues that prevent successful programming or full remote functionality. LockNCal is not responsible for prior repairs/diagnostics performed by others or pre-existing conditions.

6) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to access the vehicle as needed to perform the booked locksmith service (including connecting diagnostic/programming equipment and performing key programming procedures as applicable).
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding quotes, approvals, additional required charges, and service updates.

LockNCal Vehicle Module Programming (Texas) – Proof of Ownership, Overage Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Some programming requests involve the vehicle’s immobilizer (IMMO), anti-theft system, security access, and/or safety systems. For legal compliance and customer protection in Texas, LockNCal requires identity and ownership verification before performing any module programming service. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Proof of Ownership / Authorization (Required Before Service)

• Required documents (individual customer): I must present a current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or other valid ID) plus one of the following that shows I am authorized for the vehicle:
  • Vehicle title, or
  • Current registration, or
  • Current proof of insurance.
• Matching requirement: The Name/details on the documents must reasonably match the person requesting service and/or confirm the vehicle's authorization. If the vehicle is not in my Name, I must provide clear written authorization demonstrating that I am authorized to request programming for the vehicle.
• Business/fleet/auction/dealership/shop requests: If service is requested by a business entity, LockNCal requires:
  • Authorized representative’s current photo ID, and
  • Vehicle ownership/authorization documentation (title/registration/insurance/bill of sale as applicable), and
  • A work order, repair order, or bill of sale showing the vehicle is under that entity’s control/authorization.
• Service refusal: If I cannot provide acceptable proof of ownership/authorization at the appointment, LockNCal may refuse service. In that case, I understand the booking remains final and non-refundable.

2) Preconditions (What Must Be True Before Programming Can Succeed)

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm all required repairs related to the system being programmed have been completed in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Correct part and correct installation: I confirm the installed module has the correct part number for my vehicle configuration and is properly installed, with all required connectors, grounds, fuses, sensors, and related components intact.
• Vehicle readiness: I understand programming may fail due to low voltage/battery issues, wiring/network faults (CAN/LIN/FlexRay), aftermarket electronics, corrosion/water intrusion, collision damage, missing components, unresolved faults, security/immobilizer restrictions, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

3) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted programming/configuration of a module (execution), not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee the vehicle will be “fixed”: Programming may or may not resolve vehicle symptoms. Results depend on prior diagnostics, repairs, part correctness, installation quality, stable voltage, network communication, and vehicle condition.
• No diagnostic obligation: I understand the LockNCal technician is not obligated to diagnose root causes or provide repair recommendations if programming fails or cannot be completed. Diagnostic services (if offered) must be booked separately.

4) Variable Complexity and Additional Charges

• Complexity varies: I understand additional charges may be required depending on the type of programming requested and vehicle-specific procedures (including IMMO/anti-theft involvement, security access, additional relearns, or other required steps).
• Approval required: If additional charges are required, the technician will inform me of the costs before proceeding. If I decline, service may be stopped, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

5) Time Policy (2 Hours Included + Overage Approval)

• Included time: The booked programming service includes up to 2 hours of on-site programming time.
• Hard stop after included time: If the service exceeds 2 hours for any reason, LockNCal will pause work and request authorization to continue.
• Overage rate: Additional time is billed at $175 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments ($87.50 per half hour). Payment is due immediately upon approval before work continues.
• If I decline or do not respond: If I decline additional time (or do not respond within a reasonable time), I understand that the service may be stopped and that the booking remains final and non-refundable.

6) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.

7) Return Visit / Re-Appointment Policy

• New booking required: If programming cannot be completed and I want a technician to return after repairs or conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new appointment and pay a new service fee.

8) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect diagnostic/programming equipment to my vehicle, perform programming attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding quotes, approvals, overage charges, and service updates.

LockNCal ADAS Calibration – Master Disclosure, Programming Prerequisites, Site Requirements, Power Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: ADAS calibration is a precision safety procedure that depends on proper OEM repairs, correct sensor installation and alignment, stable vehicle communication, and a suitable work environment. Many ADAS components also require programming/coding before calibration is possible. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Preconditions – OEM Repairs Must Be Completed First

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm that all necessary repairs have been performed in accordance with the OEM manufacturer’s requirements before LockNCal arrives to calibrate.
• Calibration depends on correct installation: If any ADAS sensor, bracket, module, camera, radar, bumper/grille component, mounting point, or related part is damaged, loose, incorrectly installed, or misaligned, I understand the calibration may fail or be impossible until those issues are corrected.

2) Disassembly / Reassembly Is Not Included (Bumpers, Grilles, Trim, Etc.)

• No R&I included: LockNCal and its technicians are not responsible for removing or reinstalling parts to access sensors/cameras/radars (including, but not limited to, bumpers, grilles, trim panels, undercovers, interior panels, brackets, or related components).
• Customer/shop support required: The individual or business requesting service must provide a qualified person on-site to assist with any required removal and installation of parts. If no assistance is available, the calibration may be delayed, stopped, or cancelled.

3) Sensor/Module Alignment Is Not Included

• Calibration requires correct alignment: If a sensor/module is misaligned, I understand the individual or business that hired LockNCal is responsible for having the sensor/module corrected and aligned to OEM specifications before LockNCal can calibrate.
• Not a body/repair correction service: LockNCal performs calibration; it does not provide body repair, bracket/structural correction, or mount alignment unless explicitly quoted and booked as a separate service (if available).

4) Programming/Coding Prerequisite (Common ADAS “Hidden Requirement”)

• Calibration may require programming first: I understand that if a sensor, camera, or module has been replaced, it may require programming/coding/initialization to the vehicle before an ADAS calibration can be completed.
• No programming = no calibration: If the vehicle requires programming and it has not been completed (or cannot be completed), I understand the ADAS calibration cannot be completed.
• Additional cost: Programming/coding is a separate service and will be billed separately. LockNCal may offer module programming as an added service (if available) and will provide pricing for approval before proceeding.
• Recommendation to prevent wasted bookings: If I replaced any sensor, camera, or module (or I’m not sure), I understand LockNCal strongly recommends booking a Vehicle Diagnostic and/or Module Programming service first, so I know the full scope and cost before attempting calibration.

5) Used/Aftermarket Parts Warning (Compatibility Risk)

• OEM is strongly recommended: I understand that ADAS systems are sensitive and that OEM parts are required for reliable programming and calibration.
• Used/aftermarket may not work: If I installed a used or aftermarket sensor/camera/module, I understand that, in many cases, it may be incompatible, locked, unprogrammable, or not support successful calibration.
• No guarantee: LockNCal does not guarantee successful programming or calibration when used with aftermarket ADAS components.

6) Vehicle Readiness Requirements (Including Plate for Dynamic Calibrations)

• Street-legal requirement for dynamic calibrations: If the calibration requires driving, I understand the vehicle must have a valid, current license plate so the technician can perform the dynamic calibration without delay.
• Power and communication: I understand calibrations can fail due to low voltage, weak battery, charging system issues, blown fuses, wiring faults, module faults, CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication problems, aftermarket electronics, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

7) Power Policy (Non-Negotiable)

• Good battery required: I understand the vehicle must have a good, working battery. This is non-negotiable. If the battery/voltage is unstable, LockNCal may refuse or stop the service to prevent module damage or inaccurate results.
• Access to power required: I agree to provide access to an on-site power source (standard outlet) so LockNCal can connect its power maintainer/support equipment during calibration and/or programming.
• LockNCal provides the maintainer: I understand LockNCal will bring its own power maintainer, but I must provide access to power at the location.

8) Site/Work Area Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Indoor preferred/outdoor sometimes necessary: LockNCal prefers to perform calibrations indoors due to wind and weather elements; however, I understand indoor space is not always available, and calibrations may need to be performed outdoors when conditions allow.
• Required conditions: The vehicle must be positioned in a flat, level area. The surrounding area must be clean and reasonably free of debris/obstructions that could affect setup.
• “Spacious” defined: I understand “spacious” means there must be approximately 2–3 vehicle parking spaces of clearance around the vehicle being calibrated to safely set up equipment and perform the procedure correctly.
• If site requirements are not met: If the location does not meet these requirements (insufficient space, uneven ground, unclean/unsafe area, no power access, etc.), LockNCal may stop/cancel the service. In that case, the booking remains final and non-refundable.

9) Weather Policy (Reschedule, Not Refund)

• Weather may prevent outdoor calibration: If calibration must be performed outdoors and weather conditions (including rain or unsafe conditions) prevent proper calibration, LockNCal will reschedule the calibration for a later date/time when conditions are suitable and a technician is available.
• No extra charge for weather rescheduling: If calibration cannot be performed due to weather, LockNCal will reschedule at no additional charge.
• No refunds: This is a reschedule policy only; no refunds are issued.

10) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted execution of the booked ADAS calibration procedure, not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee of completion: LockNCal cannot guarantee completion if calibration cannot be performed due to incomplete repairs, improper installation/alignment, missing programming/coding, electrical issues, communication problems, OEM restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: LockNCal and its technicians are not obligated to diagnose the vehicle or provide repair recommendations. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

11) Additional Charges for Programming, Delays, Rework, or Extra Requirements

• Added services may be required: If the vehicle requires programming/coding, additional procedures, or other prerequisites to complete calibration, I understand additional charges may apply.
• Delays create added cost: If service is delayed due to missing prerequisites (repairs not complete, parts not removed, misalignment not corrected, poor site conditions, weak battery, missing plate for dynamic calibration, no power access, etc.), additional charges may apply.
• Approval required: LockNCal will notify me of any additional charges before proceeding. If I decline required charges, service may stop, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

12) Re-Appointment / Return Visit Policy

• New booking required: If LockNCal cannot complete the calibration due to missing prerequisites or vehicle conditions, and I want LockNCal to return after conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new online appointment and pay a new service fee.

13) If I Don’t Know What the Vehicle Needs – Diagnostic First

• Diagnostic strongly recommended: If I am not 100% sure what the vehicle needs (calibration vs. programming vs. replacement), I understand I should book a Vehicle Diagnostic first so LockNCal can determine the correct path.
• Quote and payment before calibration: After diagnosis (if booked), a proper quote will be provided and must be paid before the technician starts calibration and/or programming.

14) Services Offered (Read Carefully Before Booking)

• Static calibrations currently offered: At this time, LockNCal only provides the following static ADAS calibration services:
  • Front Radar Calibration
  • Windshield Camera Calibration
  • Rear Bumper Corner Sensor Calibration
• Dynamic calibrations: LockNCal can also perform dynamic calibrations (where permitted and where vehicle readiness and legal road requirements are met).
• Booking the wrong service: If I book an ADAS calibration service that LockNCal does not currently offer as a static calibration, the booking remains final and non-refundable. If I am unsure, I understand a diagnostic is strongly recommended.

15) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or prerequisites: I understand there will be no refund if calibration fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including incomplete repairs, misalignment, missing access/assistance, missing programming/coding, incompatible used/aftermarket parts, poor worksite conditions, electrical/communication issues, software limitations, missing/invalid license plate for required road testing, no power access, weak battery/unstable voltage, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to set up calibration equipment, connect diagnostic tools, connect power support equipment, perform calibration attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding service status, approvals, additional charges, rescheduling due to weather, and service updates.

LockNCal Vehicle Diagnostic (Scan-Only) – Master Disclosure, 1-Hour Limit & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Modern vehicles contain complex, interconnected electronic systems. This service is a scan-only diagnostic focused on the specific safety and security systems LockNCal supports. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Scope of Diagnostic (Scan-Only / Specialty Systems Only)

• Scan-only diagnostic: I understand LockNCal will perform a computer scan of applicable modules and capture fault codes/data related to the system's LockNCal services.
• Systems covered: This diagnostic is limited to:
  • SRS/Airbag systems
  • ADAS systems
  • Anti-Theft / Immobilizer (IMMO) systems
  • Related safety/security modules and communication relevant to those systems
• Not a full-vehicle diagnostic: I understand this service is not intended to diagnose unrelated systems such as engine/drivability (misfires), transmission, HVAC, suspension, general mechanical issues, or general electrical issues outside the covered systems.
• No electrical troubleshooting: I understand that LockNCal does not perform time-intensive electrical diagnostics such as harness tracing, open/short testing, parasitic-draw testing, corrosion hunts, or network-integrity mapping. If my issue requires that type of testing, I may need an automotive electrical specialist.

2) 1-Hour Maximum Service Window (Hard Cap)

• Time limit: I understand this diagnostic service is limited to 1 hour on-site.
• What the hour covers: The hour includes connecting scan tools, scanning applicable modules, documenting results, and providing scan findings related to the covered systems.
• No extended diagnostic work: If the vehicle requires additional time due to communication issues, low voltage, severe network faults, missing modules, or any other complication, I understand LockNCal may stop at the 1-hour limit and recommend next steps. Any further work requires booking and paying for a separate service appointment.

3) What I Will Receive (Report of Findings)

• Scan report/fault list: I understand LockNCal can provide a report/list of fault codes and findings discovered during the scan related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• Results are condition-dependent: Results depend on vehicle voltage, module communication, prior repairs, and whether unresolved faults prevent certain modules from communicating.

4) No Guaranteed Solutions (Scan Results ≠ Guaranteed Fix)

• No guarantee of root cause: I understand scan results indicate what the vehicle is reporting, but they do not always identify the exact root cause. LockNCal does not guarantee 100% accuracy or an exact repair path from a scan-only diagnostic.
• Network complexity: I understand one failure may hide another. After one issue is repaired, additional issues may appear or become visible once communication is restored.
• Electrical pinpointing excluded: Even if a fault relates to a system LockNCal specializes in, if the underlying cause requires electrical pinpoint testing, I understand LockNCal may not be able to identify exactly where the electrical failure is located under this scan-only service.

5) Relationship to Repairs (Separate Services + Separate Pricing)

• Diagnostic does not include repairs: I understand this booking is for diagnostic scanning time only. Any programming, calibration, parts replacement, or additional service is separate and requires a separate quote and payment approval before work begins.
• Recommendation: If I am unsure whether I need programming, calibration, replacement, or multiple steps, I understand scan-only diagnostic is the recommended first step to reduce misunderstandings and unnecessary charges.

6) Appointment Readiness

• Vehicle access: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time and will be accessible for scan (OBD2 access).
• Voltage and communication limitations: I understand low battery voltage, blown fuses, aftermarket electronics, collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or prior work performed by others may prevent scanning or limit results.

7) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to findings or limitations: I understand there will be no refund if the scan reveals issues outside LockNCal’s scope, if modules will not communicate, if results are limited by vehicle condition, or if additional specialized electrical testing is required beyond this service.

8) Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including towing, rental car costs, loss of use, downtime, or lost income).
• If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, liability is limited to the amount paid for the diagnostic service.

9) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect scan equipment to my vehicle, scan applicable modules, and document fault codes/data related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding findings and quotes for additional services (if applicable).

LockNCal Airbag Module Reset – Master Disclosure & Authorization

IMPORTANT: This service involves vehicle safety systems (SRS/airbags/pretensioners). By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) What My Booking Payment Covers (Dispatch + Diagnostic + Attempt)

• Service-call / dispatch fee: The amount paid at booking covers the technician's dispatch to my location, access to the vehicle’s OBD2 port, professional scanning/diagnostics of the SRS system, and a reset attempt, where applicable.
• Not a guaranteed outcome: I understand I am paying for time, travel, diagnosis, and attempted service — not a guaranteed reset, repair, or “no warning light” result.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back this payment for reasons related to the outcome (including non-resettable modules, required module removal, or other faults found), because LockNCal dispatched a technician, performed diagnostic labor, and attempted service as applicable.

2) OBD2 Reset vs. Module Removal vs. Replacement

• OBD2 reset is sometimes possible: In many vehicles, the airbag module can be reset through the OBD2 port. However, some vehicles require removing the airbag module to complete the reset.
• 80/20 estimate (not a promise): Approximately 80% of the time, the reset can be completed via OBD2, and approximately 20% of the time, the module must be removed. This is only an estimate and not a guarantee.
• Some modules cannot be reset: I understand that some airbag modules are not resettable and must be replaced.
• LockNCal cannot confirm requirements until diagnosis: LockNCal cannot determine whether my vehicle requires module removal, replacement, or additional repairs until the vehicle is scanned and diagnosed in person.
• If module removal is required: If diagnosis confirms module removal is required, I may choose:
  • To remove/reinstall the module myself (at my own risk and responsibility), or
  • To request that LockNCal perform module removal/reinstallation as an additional service for an additional charge (if available for my vehicle and situation).
• If replacement is required: If diagnosis indicates my module must be replaced, LockNCal may provide a quote for replacement options (if available). The booking payment remains non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched and diagnostic work has begun.

3) No Refund Policy (Outcome-Based)

• Non-refundable: Once the booking is confirmed, no refund is available.
• No refund due to outcome or third-party diagnosis: No refund will be issued if service cannot be completed due to factors including (but not limited to): my vehicle requiring module removal, module being non-resettable, prior repairs/diagnosis by others, incorrect assumptions at booking, previous collision damage, wiring faults, missing components, aftermarket/non-OEM parts, low battery/voltage issues, additional SRS faults, or conditions that prevent safe/complete service.

4) Safety, Scope Limits, and No Certification of Roadworthiness

• No safety certification: Resetting an airbag module or clearing crash data does not certify that my vehicle is safe, roadworthy, or restored to OEM crash readiness.
• Other repairs may still be required: I understand SRS faults may require additional parts and repairs (airbags, seat belts/pretensioners, sensors, wiring, modules, seat/occupant systems, programming, calibrations, etc.) beyond an airbag module reset.
• Customer responsibility for full repair: I am responsible for ensuring my vehicle is repaired in accordance with OEM procedures and inspected appropriately before operating it.

5) Customer Removal/Reinstall Responsibility & Hold Harmless

• If I choose to remove/reinstall the airbag module or any SRS component myself (or through a third party), I accept full responsibility for any injury, airbag deployment, electrical damage, vehicle damage, improper installation, or resulting faults.
• Release/hold harmless: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless LockNCal, its owners, technicians, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising from customer-performed removal/reinstall or third-party work.

6) Access, No-Show, Unsafe Conditions, and Second-Trip Policy

• Access requirement: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time, accessible, and in a reasonably safe environment for the technician to work.
• No-show / locked / unavailable vehicle: If the vehicle is unavailable, inaccessible, locked with no access, moved, blocked, or conditions are unsafe, the appointment will be cancelled without refund.
• Second trip/return visit: If service cannot be completed in one visit because module removal is required and not completed at the appointment time, replacement parts must be obtained, or additional issues are discovered, I understand a return visit will require a new service-call fee and additional labor charges.
• Cancellation window: None. Once the service is booked, there is no cancellation or refund.

7) Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of use, lost income, towing, rental cars, downtime, or related costs).
• If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, liability is limited to the amount I paid for the booked service.

8) Customer Authorization

LockNCal Seat Belt Replacement – Master Disclosure, Intake Requirements & Authorization

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm that all necessary repairs related to programming the system have been completed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.
• Correct part and correct installation: I confirm the installed module has the correct part number for my vehicle configuration (year/make/model/trim/options) and is installed properly, with all required connectors, grounds, fuses, sensors, and related components intact.
• Vehicle readiness: I understand programming may fail if the vehicle has low voltage, poor battery condition, wiring/network faults (CAN/LIN/FlexRay), aftermarket electronics, corrosion/water intrusion, collision damage, missing components, or unresolved fault conditions.

2) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted programming/configuration of a module (execution), not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee the vehicle will be “fixed”: Module programming may or may not resolve my vehicle’s symptoms. Outcome depends on prior diagnostics, repairs, part correctness, installation quality, and vehicle condition, which may be outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: I understand the LockNCal technician is not obligated to diagnose the vehicle, identify root causes, or provide repair recommendations if programming fails or cannot be completed. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

3) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.

5) Time Policy (2 Hours Included + Overage Approval)

• Included time: The booked programming service includes up to 2 hours of on-site programming time.
• Hard stop after included time: If the service exceeds 2 hours for any reason, LockNCal will pause work and request authorization to continue.
• Overage rate: Additional time is billed at $175 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments ($87.50 per half hour).
• If I decline or do not respond: If I decline additional time (or do not respond within a reasonable time), I understand that the service may be stopped and that the booking remains final and non-refundable.

6) Appointment Readiness, Access, and Service Conditions

• Power requirements: I understand stable voltage is critical for programming. LockNCal may require the vehicle battery to be in good condition and/or connected to a power supply/maintainer. If the voltage is unstable, programming may be refused or stopped to prevent damage.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including towing, rental car costs, loss of use, downtime, or lost income).

8) Customer Authorization

To protect vehicle owners and operate responsibly in Texas, LockNCal requires identity and ownership verification before performing any service. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Proof of Ownership / Authorization (Required Before Service)

• Required documents (individual customer): I must present a current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or other valid ID) plus one of the following that shows I am authorized for the vehicle:
  • Vehicle title, or
  • Current registration, or
  • Current proof of insurance
• Matching requirement: The Name on the ownership/insurance/registration documentation must reasonably match the person requesting service, or I must provide written authorization showing I am allowed to request service for the vehicle.
• Business/fleet/auction/dealership/shop requests: If service is requested by a business, fleet, auction, dealership, or repair shop, LockNCal requires:
  • Authorized representative’s current photo ID, and
  • Vehicle ownership/authorization documentation (title/registration/insurance/bill of sale as applicable), and
  • A work order, repair order, or bill of sale showing the vehicle is under that entity’s control/authorization.
• Service refusal: If I cannot provide acceptable proof of ownership/authorization at the appointment, LockNCal may refuse service. In that case, I understand the booking remains final and non-refundable because capacity and dispatch time were reserved for my appointment.
• Verification record: I authorize LockNCal to reasonably document verification (for example: recording the ID type, last Name, and verifying documents). LockNCal is not required to perform service if anything appears inconsistent or suspicious.

2) Key Type Policy (Aftermarket Default / OEM by Request)

• Default keys: I understand LockNCal will quote and provide aftermarket keys by default.
• OEM option: If I want OEM keys, I must clearly request “OEM Keys” in the booking notes before submitting the form.
• Adjusted quote: If I request OEM keys, an adjusted quote (including additional charges) will be sent via text within 48 business hours of my submission of the booking form (excluding weekends/holidays).
• Parts control: For quality control and security reasons, LockNCal may require the use of keys/remotes supplied through LockNCal’s sourcing. If a special situation exists, I understand I must contact LockNCal before booking.

3) Variable Procedures, Additional Charges, and Payment Timing

• Not all vehicles are “standard”: I understand that some require additional steps beyond standard locksmith procedures (security access, additional programming, special immobilizer procedures, vehicle-specific requirements, etc.).
• Additional charges may apply: If my vehicle requires additional procedures, parts, or labor, LockNCal will notify me of the additional charges. I understand these charges must be approved and paid before the service is completed.
• Example – All Keys Lost (AKL) may require 2 keys: I understand that some vehicles require two (2) new keys to be programmed when all keys are lost. If I book a service for one (1) key and my vehicle requires two (2), I agree that the fee for the additional key will be collected on-site before the service is completed.
• If I decline additional required items: If I decline required additional parts/procedures (including a second key when required), I understand the service may be stopped, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

3) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted programming/configuration of a module (execution), not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee the vehicle will be “fixed”: Programming may or may not resolve vehicle symptoms. Results depend on prior diagnostics, repairs, part correctness, installation quality, stable voltage, network communication, and vehicle condition.
• No diagnostic obligation: I understand the LockNCal technician is not obligated to diagnose root causes or provide repair recommendations if programming fails or cannot be completed. Diagnostic services (if offered) must be booked separately.

4) Variable Complexity and Additional Charges

• Complexity varies: I understand additional charges may be required depending on the type of programming requested and vehicle-specific procedures (including IMMO/anti-theft involvement, security access, additional relearns, or other required steps).
• Approval required: If additional charges are required, the technician will inform me of the costs before proceeding. If I decline, service may be stopped, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

5) Time Policy (2 Hours Included + Overage Approval)

• Included time: The booked programming service includes up to 2 hours of on-site programming time.
• Hard stop after included time: If the service exceeds 2 hours for any reason, LockNCal will pause work and request authorization to continue.
• Overage rate: Additional time is billed at $175 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments ($87.50 per half hour). Payment is due immediately upon approval before work continues.
• If I decline or do not respond: If I decline additional time (or do not respond within a reasonable time), I understand that the service may be stopped and that the booking remains final and non-refundable.

6) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or eligibility: I understand there will be no refund if programming fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including missing/insufficient proof of ownership, incomplete repairs, incorrect/defective modules, incorrect installation, vehicle condition, security restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7) Return Visit / Re-Appointment Policy

• New booking required: If programming cannot be completed and I want a technician to return after repairs or conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new appointment and pay a new service fee.

8) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect diagnostic/programming equipment to my vehicle, perform programming attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding quotes, approvals, overage charges, and service updates.

LockNCal ADAS Calibration – Master Disclosure, Programming Prerequisites, Site Requirements, Power Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: ADAS calibration is a precision safety procedure that depends on proper OEM repairs, correct sensor installation and alignment, stable vehicle communication, and a suitable work environment. Many ADAS components also require programming/coding before calibration is possible. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Preconditions – OEM Repairs Must Be Completed First

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm that all necessary repairs have been performed in accordance with the OEM manufacturer’s requirements before LockNCal arrives to calibrate.
• Calibration depends on correct installation: If any ADAS sensor, bracket, module, camera, radar, bumper/grille component, mounting point, or related part is damaged, loose, incorrectly installed, or misaligned, I understand the calibration may fail or be impossible until those issues are corrected.

2) Disassembly / Reassembly Is Not Included (Bumpers, Grilles, Trim, Etc.)

• No R&I included: LockNCal and its technicians are not responsible for removing or reinstalling parts to access sensors/cameras/radars (including, but not limited to, bumpers, grilles, trim panels, undercovers, interior panels, brackets, or related components).
• Customer/shop support required: The individual or business requesting service must provide a qualified person on-site to assist with any required removal and installation of parts. If no assistance is available, the calibration may be delayed, stopped, or cancelled.

3) Sensor/Module Alignment Is Not Included

• Calibration requires correct alignment: If a sensor/module is misaligned, I understand the individual or business that hired LockNCal is responsible for having the sensor/module corrected and aligned to OEM specifications before LockNCal can calibrate.
• Not a body/repair correction service: LockNCal performs calibration; it does not provide body repair, bracket/structural correction, or mount alignment unless explicitly quoted and booked as a separate service (if available).

4) Programming/Coding Prerequisite (Common ADAS “Hidden Requirement”)

• Calibration may require programming first: I understand that if a sensor, camera, or module has been replaced, it may require programming/coding/initialization to the vehicle before an ADAS calibration can be completed.
• No programming = no calibration: If the vehicle requires programming and it has not been completed (or cannot be completed), I understand the ADAS calibration cannot be completed.
• Additional cost: Programming/coding is a separate service and will be billed separately. LockNCal may offer module programming as an added service (if available) and will provide pricing for approval before proceeding.
• Recommendation to prevent wasted bookings: If I replaced any sensor, camera, or module (or I’m not sure), I understand LockNCal strongly recommends booking a Vehicle Diagnostic and/or Module Programming service first, so I know the full scope and cost before attempting calibration.

5) Used/Aftermarket Parts Warning (Compatibility Risk)

• OEM is strongly recommended: I understand that ADAS systems are sensitive and that OEM parts are required for reliable programming and calibration.
• Used/aftermarket may not work: If I installed a used or aftermarket sensor/camera/module, I understand that, in many cases, it may be incompatible, locked, unprogrammable, or not support successful calibration.
• No guarantee: LockNCal does not guarantee successful programming or calibration when used with aftermarket ADAS components.

6) Vehicle Readiness Requirements (Including Plate for Dynamic Calibrations)

• Street-legal requirement for dynamic calibrations: If the calibration requires driving, I understand the vehicle must have a valid, current license plate so the technician can perform the dynamic calibration without delay.
• Power and communication: I understand calibrations can fail due to low voltage, weak battery, charging system issues, blown fuses, wiring faults, module faults, CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication problems, aftermarket electronics, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

7) Power Policy (Non-Negotiable)

• Good battery required: I understand the vehicle must have a good, working battery. This is non-negotiable. If the battery/voltage is unstable, LockNCal may refuse or stop the service to prevent module damage or inaccurate results.
• Access to power required: I agree to provide access to an on-site power source (standard outlet) so LockNCal can connect its power maintainer/support equipment during calibration and/or programming.
• LockNCal provides the maintainer: I understand LockNCal will bring its own power maintainer, but I must provide access to power at the location.

8) Site/Work Area Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Indoor preferred/outdoor sometimes necessary: LockNCal prefers to perform calibrations indoors due to wind and weather elements; however, I understand indoor space is not always available, and calibrations may need to be performed outdoors when conditions allow.
• Required conditions: The vehicle must be positioned in a flat, level area. The surrounding area must be clean and reasonably free of debris/obstructions that could affect setup.
• “Spacious” defined: I understand “spacious” means there must be approximately 2–3 vehicle parking spaces of clearance around the vehicle being calibrated to safely set up equipment and perform the procedure correctly.
• If site requirements are not met: If the location does not meet these requirements (insufficient space, uneven ground, unclean/unsafe area, no power access, etc.), LockNCal may stop/cancel the service. In that case, the booking remains final and non-refundable.

9) Weather Policy (Reschedule, Not Refund)

• Weather may prevent outdoor calibration: If calibration must be performed outdoors and weather conditions (including rain or unsafe conditions) prevent proper calibration, LockNCal will reschedule the calibration for a later date/time when conditions are suitable and a technician is available.
• No extra charge for weather rescheduling: If calibration cannot be performed due to weather, LockNCal will reschedule at no additional charge.
• No refunds: This is a reschedule policy only; no refunds are issued.

10) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted execution of the booked ADAS calibration procedure, not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee of completion: LockNCal cannot guarantee completion if calibration cannot be performed due to incomplete repairs, improper installation/alignment, missing programming/coding, electrical issues, communication problems, OEM restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: LockNCal and its technicians are not obligated to diagnose the vehicle or provide repair recommendations. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

11) Additional Charges for Programming, Delays, Rework, or Extra Requirements

• Added services may be required: If the vehicle requires programming/coding, additional procedures, or other prerequisites to complete calibration, I understand additional charges may apply.
• Delays create added cost: If service is delayed due to missing prerequisites (repairs not complete, parts not removed, misalignment not corrected, poor site conditions, weak battery, missing plate for dynamic calibration, no power access, etc.), additional charges may apply.
• Approval required: LockNCal will notify me of any additional charges before proceeding. If I decline required charges, service may stop, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

12) Re-Appointment / Return Visit Policy

• New booking required: If LockNCal cannot complete the calibration due to missing prerequisites or vehicle conditions, and I want LockNCal to return after conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new online appointment and pay a new service fee.

13) If I Don’t Know What the Vehicle Needs – Diagnostic First

• Diagnostic strongly recommended: If I am not 100% sure what the vehicle needs (calibration vs. programming vs. replacement), I understand I should book a Vehicle Diagnostic first so LockNCal can determine the correct path.
• Quote and payment before calibration: After diagnosis (if booked), a proper quote will be provided and must be paid before the technician starts calibration and/or programming.

14) Services Offered (Read Carefully Before Booking)

• Static calibrations currently offered: At this time, LockNCal only provides the following static ADAS calibration services:
  • Front Radar Calibration
  • Windshield Camera Calibration
  • Rear Bumper Corner Sensor Calibration
• Dynamic calibrations: LockNCal can also perform dynamic calibrations (where permitted and where vehicle readiness and legal road requirements are met).
• Booking the wrong service: If I book an ADAS calibration service that LockNCal does not currently offer as a static calibration, the booking remains final and non-refundable. If I am unsure, I understand a diagnostic is strongly recommended.

15) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or prerequisites: I understand there will be no refund if calibration fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including incomplete repairs, misalignment, missing access/assistance, missing programming/coding, incompatible used/aftermarket parts, poor worksite conditions, electrical/communication issues, software limitations, missing/invalid license plate for required road testing, no power access, weak battery/unstable voltage, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.

16) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to set up calibration equipment, connect diagnostic tools, connect power support equipment, perform calibration attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding service status, approvals, additional charges, rescheduling due to weather, and service updates.

LockNCal Vehicle Diagnostic (Scan-Only) – Master Disclosure, 1-Hour Limit & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Modern vehicles contain complex, interconnected electronic systems. This service is a scan-only diagnostic focused on the specific safety and security systems LockNCal supports. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Scope of Diagnostic (Scan-Only / Specialty Systems Only)

• Scan-only diagnostic: I understand LockNCal will perform a computer scan of applicable modules and capture fault codes/data related to the system's LockNCal services.
• Systems covered: This diagnostic is limited to:
  • SRS/Airbag systems
  • ADAS systems
  • Anti-Theft / Immobilizer (IMMO) systems
  • Related safety/security modules and communication relevant to those systems
• Not a full-vehicle diagnostic: I understand this service is not intended to diagnose unrelated systems such as engine/drivability (misfires), transmission, HVAC, suspension, general mechanical issues, or general electrical issues outside the covered systems.
• No electrical troubleshooting: I understand that LockNCal does not perform time-intensive electrical diagnostics such as harness tracing, open/short testing, parasitic-draw testing, corrosion hunts, or network-integrity mapping. If my issue requires that type of testing, I may need an automotive electrical specialist.

2) 1-Hour Maximum Service Window (Hard Cap)

• Time limit: I understand this diagnostic service is limited to 1 hour on-site.
• What the hour covers: The hour includes connecting scan tools, scanning applicable modules, documenting results, and providing scan findings related to the covered systems.
• No extended diagnostic work: If the vehicle requires additional time due to communication issues, low voltage, severe network faults, missing modules, or any other complication, I understand LockNCal may stop at the 1-hour limit and recommend next steps. Any further work requires booking and paying for a separate service appointment.

3) What I Will Receive (Report of Findings)

• Scan report/fault list: I understand LockNCal can provide a report/list of fault codes and findings discovered during the scan related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• Results are condition-dependent: Results depend on vehicle voltage, module communication, prior repairs, and whether unresolved faults prevent certain modules from communicating.

4) No Guaranteed Solutions (Scan Results ≠ Guaranteed Fix)

• No guarantee of root cause: I understand scan results indicate what the vehicle is reporting, but they do not always identify the exact root cause. LockNCal does not guarantee 100% accuracy or an exact repair path from a scan-only diagnostic.
• Network complexity: I understand one failure may hide another. After one issue is repaired, additional issues may appear or become visible once communication is restored.
• Electrical pinpointing excluded: Even if a fault relates to a system LockNCal specializes in, if the underlying cause requires electrical pinpoint testing, I understand LockNCal may not be able to identify exactly where the electrical failure is located under this scan-only service.

5) Relationship to Repairs (Separate Services + Separate Pricing)

• Diagnostic does not include repairs: I understand this booking is for diagnostic scanning time only. Any programming, calibration, parts replacement, or additional service is separate and requires a separate quote and payment approval before work begins.
• Recommendation: If I am unsure whether I need programming, calibration, replacement, or multiple steps, I understand scan-only diagnostic is the recommended first step to reduce misunderstandings and unnecessary charges.

6) Appointment Readiness

• Vehicle access: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time and will be accessible for scan (OBD2 access).
• Voltage and communication limitations: I understand low battery voltage, blown fuses, aftermarket electronics, collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or prior work performed by others may prevent scanning or limit results.

7) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to findings or limitations: I understand there will be no refund if the scan reveals issues outside LockNCal’s scope, if modules will not communicate, if results are limited by vehicle condition, or if additional specialized electrical testing is required beyond this service.

• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding findings and quotes for additional services (if applicable).

LockNCal Airbag Module Reset – Master Disclosure & Authorization

IMPORTANT: This service involves vehicle safety systems (SRS/airbags/pretensioners). By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) What My Booking Payment Covers (Dispatch + Diagnostic + Attempt)

• Service-call / dispatch fee: The amount paid at booking covers the technician's dispatch to my location, access to the vehicle’s OBD2 port, professional scanning/diagnostics of the SRS system, and a reset attempt, where applicable.
• Not a guaranteed outcome: I understand I am paying for time, travel, diagnosis, and attempted service — not a guaranteed reset, repair, or “no warning light” result.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back this payment for reasons related to the outcome (including non-resettable modules, required module removal, or other faults found), because LockNCal dispatched a technician, performed diagnostic labor, and attempted service as applicable.

2) OBD2 Reset vs. Module Removal vs. Replacement

• OBD2 reset is sometimes possible: In many vehicles, the airbag module can be reset through the OBD2 port. However, some vehicles require removing the airbag module to complete the reset.
• 80/20 estimate (not a promise): Approximately 80% of the time, the reset can be completed via OBD2, and approximately 20% of the time, the module must be removed. This is only an estimate and not a guarantee.
• Some modules cannot be reset: I understand that some airbag modules are not resettable and must be replaced.
• LockNCal cannot confirm requirements until diagnosis: LockNCal cannot determine whether my vehicle requires module removal, replacement, or additional repairs until the vehicle is scanned and diagnosed in person.
• If module removal is required: If diagnosis confirms module removal is required, I may choose:
  • To remove/reinstall the module myself (at my own risk and responsibility), or
  • To request that LockNCal perform module removal/reinstallation as an additional service for an additional charge (if available for my vehicle and situation).
• If replacement is required: If diagnosis indicates my module must be replaced, LockNCal may provide a quote for replacement options (if available). The booking payment remains non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched and diagnostic work has begun.

3) No Refund Policy (Outcome-Based)

• Non-refundable: Once the booking is confirmed, no refund is available.
• No refund due to outcome or third-party diagnosis: No refund will be issued if service cannot be completed due to factors including (but not limited to): my vehicle requiring module removal, module being non-resettable, prior repairs/diagnosis by others, incorrect assumptions at booking, previous collision damage, wiring faults, missing components, aftermarket/non-OEM parts, low battery/voltage issues, additional SRS faults, or conditions that prevent safe/complete service.

4) Safety, Scope Limits, and No Certification of Roadworthiness

• No safety certification: Resetting an airbag module or clearing crash data does not certify that my vehicle is safe, roadworthy, or restored to OEM crash readiness.
• Other repairs may still be required: I understand SRS faults may require additional parts and repairs (airbags, seat belts/pretensioners, sensors, wiring, modules, seat/occupant systems, programming, calibrations, etc.) beyond an airbag module reset.
• Customer responsibility for full repair: I am responsible for ensuring my vehicle is repaired in accordance with OEM procedures and inspected appropriately before operating it.

5) Customer Removal/Reinstall Responsibility & Hold Harmless

• If I choose to remove/reinstall the airbag module or any SRS component myself (or through a third party), I accept full responsibility for any injury, airbag deployment, electrical damage, vehicle damage, improper installation, or resulting faults.
• Release/hold harmless: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless LockNCal, its owners, technicians, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising from customer-performed removal/reinstall or third-party work.

6) Access, No-Show, Unsafe Conditions, and Second-Trip Policy

• Access requirement: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time, accessible, and in a reasonably safe environment for the technician to work.
• No-show / locked / unavailable vehicle: If the vehicle is unavailable, inaccessible, locked with no access, moved, blocked, or conditions are unsafe, the appointment will be cancelled without refund.
• Second trip/return visit: If service cannot be completed in one visit because module removal is required and not completed at the appointment time, replacement parts must be obtained, or additional issues are discovered, I understand a return visit will require a new service-call fee and additional labor charges.
• Cancellation window: None. Once the service is booked, there is no cancellation or refund.

7) Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: Seat belts and related SRS components are life-safety systems. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Deposit, Pricing, and What I’m Paying For Today

• Non-refundable deposit to reserve my appointment: The amount paid at booking is a non-refundable deposit used to reserve the scheduled date/time, allocate technician capacity, and begin quote preparation and parts verification.
• Parts are NOT included: The booking deposit does not include parts. Seat belt assemblies, buckles, pretensioners, anchors, and related SRS components (if needed) are billed separately.
• Total price varies by vehicle and scope: Final cost depends on the vehicle’s year/make/model/trim, affected seat position(s), number of seat belts, parts availability, and the complexity of the replacement (including any additional SRS-related work required for safe operation).

2) Required Information to Provide an Accurate Quote (VIN + Photos)

• Required for quoting: To generate an accurate quote, I agree to provide the requested information promptly after booking. This may include VIN and clear photos of:
  • The VIN (dashboard/door jamb)
  • The affected seat belt(s) and buckle(s)
  • The seat belt label/tag (if accessible)
  • The dashboard warning lights (SRS/airbag light) are on with the key on
  • Any visible collision damage near the seat/belt mounting area (if applicable)
• Accuracy matters: I understand that incorrect, incomplete, or delayed information can result in quote delays, ordering the wrong parts, rescheduling, or a revised quote.
• A revised quote is normal when new facts arise: If the vehicle configuration, seat position, parts compatibility, or SRS condition differs from what was provided, LockNCal may update the quote accordingly.

3) Quote Delivery and Approval

• Quote timeline: A detailed quote will be provided via text message within 24–48 business hours after booking (excluding weekends/holidays). In some cases, parts verification and availability checks may require additional time.
• Approval required before parts/work: Seat belt replacement work and parts ordering typically require my approval of the quote.

• Required documents (individual customer): I must present a current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or other valid ID) plus one of the following that shows I am authorized for the vehicle:

  • Current registration, or
  • Current proof of insurance
• Matching requirement: The Name on the ownership/insurance/registration documentation must reasonably match the person requesting service, or I must provide written authorization showing I am allowed to request service for the vehicle.

LockNCal ADAS Calibration – Master Disclosure, Programming Prerequisites, Site Requirements, Power Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: ADAS calibration is a precision safety procedure that depends on proper OEM repairs, correct sensor installation and alignment, stable vehicle communication, and a suitable work environment. Many ADAS components also require programming/coding before calibration is possible. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Preconditions – OEM Repairs Must Be Completed First

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm that all necessary repairs have been performed in accordance with the OEM manufacturer’s requirements before LockNCal arrives to calibrate.
• Calibration depends on correct installation: If any ADAS sensor, bracket, module, camera, radar, bumper/grille component, mounting point, or related part is damaged, loose, incorrectly installed, or misaligned, I understand the calibration may fail or be impossible until those issues are corrected.

2) Disassembly / Reassembly Is Not Included (Bumpers, Grilles, Trim, Etc.)

• No R&I included: LockNCal and its technicians are not responsible for removing or reinstalling parts to access sensors/cameras/radars (including, but not limited to, bumpers, grilles, trim panels, undercovers, interior panels, brackets, or related components).
• Customer/shop support required: The individual or business requesting service must provide a qualified person on-site to assist with any required removal and installation of parts. If no assistance is available, the calibration may be delayed, stopped, or cancelled.

3) Sensor/Module Alignment Is Not Included

• Calibration requires correct alignment: If a sensor/module is misaligned, I understand the individual or business that hired LockNCal is responsible for having the sensor/module corrected and aligned to OEM specifications before LockNCal can calibrate.
• Not a body/repair correction service: LockNCal performs calibration; it does not provide body repair, bracket/structural correction, or mount alignment unless explicitly quoted and booked as a separate service (if available).

4) Programming/Coding Prerequisite (Common ADAS “Hidden Requirement”)

• Calibration may require programming first: I understand that if a sensor, camera, or module has been replaced, it may require programming/coding/initialization to the vehicle before an ADAS calibration can be completed.
• No programming = no calibration: If the vehicle requires programming and it has not been completed (or cannot be completed), I understand the ADAS calibration cannot be completed.
• Additional cost: Programming/coding is a separate service and will be billed separately. LockNCal may offer module programming as an added service (if available) and will provide pricing for approval before proceeding.
• Recommendation to prevent wasted bookings: If I replaced any sensor, camera, or module (or I’m not sure), I understand LockNCal strongly recommends booking a Vehicle Diagnostic and/or Module Programming service first, so I know the full scope and cost before attempting calibration.

5) Used/Aftermarket Parts Warning (Compatibility Risk)

• OEM is strongly recommended: I understand that ADAS systems are sensitive and that OEM parts are required for reliable programming and calibration.
• Used/aftermarket may not work: If I installed a used or aftermarket sensor/camera/module, I understand that, in many cases, it may be incompatible, locked, unprogrammable, or not support successful calibration.
• No guarantee: LockNCal does not guarantee successful programming or calibration when used with aftermarket ADAS components.

6) Vehicle Readiness Requirements (Including Plate for Dynamic Calibrations)

• Street-legal requirement for dynamic calibrations: If the calibration requires driving, I understand the vehicle must have a valid, current license plate so the technician can perform the dynamic calibration without delay.
• Power and communication: I understand calibrations can fail due to low voltage, weak battery, charging system issues, blown fuses, wiring faults, module faults, CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication problems, aftermarket electronics, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

7) Power Policy (Non-Negotiable)

• Good battery required: I understand the vehicle must have a good, working battery. This is non-negotiable. If the battery/voltage is unstable, LockNCal may refuse or stop the service to prevent module damage or inaccurate results.
• Access to power required: I agree to provide access to an on-site power source (standard outlet) so LockNCal can connect its power maintainer/support equipment during calibration and/or programming.
• LockNCal provides the maintainer: I understand LockNCal will bring its own power maintainer, but I must provide access to power at the location.

8) Site/Work Area Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Indoor preferred/outdoor sometimes necessary: LockNCal prefers to perform calibrations indoors due to wind and weather elements; however, I understand indoor space is not always available, and calibrations may need to be performed outdoors when conditions allow.
• Required conditions: The vehicle must be positioned in a flat, level area. The surrounding area must be clean and reasonably free of debris/obstructions that could affect setup.
• “Spacious” defined: I understand “spacious” means there must be approximately 2–3 vehicle parking spaces of clearance around the vehicle being calibrated to safely set up equipment and perform the procedure correctly.
• If site requirements are not met: If the location does not meet these requirements (insufficient space, uneven ground, unclean/unsafe area, no power access, etc.), LockNCal may stop/cancel the service. In that case, the booking remains final and non-refundable.

9) Weather Policy (Reschedule, Not Refund)

• Weather may prevent outdoor calibration: If calibration must be performed outdoors and weather conditions (including rain or unsafe conditions) prevent proper calibration, LockNCal will reschedule the calibration for a later date/time when conditions are suitable and a technician is available.
• No extra charge for weather rescheduling: If calibration cannot be performed due to weather, LockNCal will reschedule at no additional charge.
• No refunds: This is a reschedule policy only; no refunds are issued.

10) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted execution of the booked ADAS calibration procedure, not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee of completion: LockNCal cannot guarantee completion if calibration cannot be performed due to incomplete repairs, improper installation/alignment, missing programming/coding, electrical issues, communication problems, OEM restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: LockNCal and its technicians are not obligated to diagnose the vehicle or provide repair recommendations. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

11) Additional Charges for Programming, Delays, Rework, or Extra Requirements

• Added services may be required: If the vehicle requires programming/coding, additional procedures, or other prerequisites to complete calibration, I understand additional charges may apply.
• Delays create added cost: If service is delayed due to missing prerequisites (repairs not complete, parts not removed, misalignment not corrected, poor site conditions, weak battery, missing plate for dynamic calibration, no power access, etc.), additional charges may apply.
• Approval required: LockNCal will notify me of any additional charges before proceeding. If I decline required charges, service may stop, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

12) Re-Appointment / Return Visit Policy

• New booking required: If LockNCal cannot complete the calibration due to missing prerequisites or vehicle conditions, and I want LockNCal to return after conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new online appointment and pay a new service fee.

13) If I Don’t Know What the Vehicle Needs – Diagnostic First

• Diagnostic strongly recommended: If I am not 100% sure what the vehicle needs (calibration vs. programming vs. replacement), I understand I should book a Vehicle Diagnostic first so LockNCal can determine the correct path.
• Quote and payment before calibration: After diagnosis (if booked), a proper quote will be provided and must be paid before the technician starts calibration and/or programming.

14) Services Offered (Read Carefully Before Booking)

• Static calibrations currently offered: At this time, LockNCal only provides the following static ADAS calibration services:
  • Front Radar Calibration
  • Windshield Camera Calibration
  • Rear Bumper Corner Sensor Calibration
• Dynamic calibrations: LockNCal can also perform dynamic calibrations (where permitted and where vehicle readiness and legal road requirements are met).
• Booking the wrong service: If I book an ADAS calibration service that LockNCal does not currently offer as a static calibration, the booking remains final and non-refundable. If I am unsure, I understand a diagnostic is strongly recommended.

15) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or prerequisites: I understand there will be no refund if calibration fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including incomplete repairs, misalignment, missing access/assistance, missing programming/coding, incompatible used/aftermarket parts, poor worksite conditions, electrical/communication issues, software limitations, missing/invalid license plate for required road testing, no power access, weak battery/unstable voltage, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to set up calibration equipment, connect diagnostic tools, connect power support equipment, perform calibration attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding service status, approvals, additional charges, rescheduling due to weather, and service updates.

LockNCal Vehicle Diagnostic (Scan-Only) – Master Disclosure, 1-Hour Limit & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Modern vehicles contain complex, interconnected electronic systems. This service is a scan-only diagnostic focused on the specific safety and security systems LockNCal supports. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Scope of Diagnostic (Scan-Only / Specialty Systems Only)

• Scan-only diagnostic: I understand LockNCal will perform a computer scan of applicable modules and capture fault codes/data related to the system's LockNCal services.
• Systems covered: This diagnostic is limited to:
  • SRS/Airbag systems
  • ADAS systems
  • Anti-Theft / Immobilizer (IMMO) systems
  • Related safety/security modules and communication relevant to those systems
• Not a full-vehicle diagnostic: I understand this service is not intended to diagnose unrelated systems such as engine/drivability (misfires), transmission, HVAC, suspension, general mechanical issues, or general electrical issues outside the covered systems.
• No electrical troubleshooting: I understand that LockNCal does not perform time-intensive electrical diagnostics such as harness tracing, open/short testing, parasitic-draw testing, corrosion hunts, or network-integrity mapping. If my issue requires that type of testing, I may need an automotive electrical specialist.

2) 1-Hour Maximum Service Window (Hard Cap)

• Time limit: I understand this diagnostic service is limited to 1 hour on-site.
• What the hour covers: The hour includes connecting scan tools, scanning applicable modules, documenting results, and providing scan findings related to the covered systems.
• No extended diagnostic work: If the vehicle requires additional time due to communication issues, low voltage, severe network faults, missing modules, or any other complication, I understand LockNCal may stop at the 1-hour limit and recommend next steps. Any further work requires booking and paying for a separate service appointment.

3) What I Will Receive (Report of Findings)

• Scan report/fault list: I understand LockNCal can provide a report/list of fault codes and findings discovered during the scan related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• Results are condition-dependent: Results depend on vehicle voltage, module communication, prior repairs, and whether unresolved faults prevent certain modules from communicating.

4) No Guaranteed Solutions (Scan Results ≠ Guaranteed Fix)

• No guarantee of root cause: I understand scan results indicate what the vehicle is reporting, but they do not always identify the exact root cause. LockNCal does not guarantee 100% accuracy or an exact repair path from a scan-only diagnostic.
• Network complexity: I understand one failure may hide another. After one issue is repaired, additional issues may appear or become visible once communication is restored.
• Electrical pinpointing excluded: Even if a fault relates to a system LockNCal specializes in, if the underlying cause requires electrical pinpoint testing, I understand LockNCal may not be able to identify exactly where the electrical failure is located under this scan-only service.

5) Relationship to Repairs (Separate Services + Separate Pricing)

• Diagnostic does not include repairs: I understand this booking is for diagnostic scanning time only. Any programming, calibration, parts replacement, or additional service is separate and requires a separate quote and payment approval before work begins.
• Recommendation: If I am unsure whether I need programming, calibration, replacement, or multiple steps, I understand scan-only diagnostic is the recommended first step to reduce misunderstandings and unnecessary charges.

6) Appointment Readiness

• Vehicle access: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time and will be accessible for scan (OBD2 access).
• Voltage and communication limitations: I understand low battery voltage, blown fuses, aftermarket electronics, collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or prior work performed by others may prevent scanning or limit results.

7) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to findings or limitations: I understand there will be no refund if the scan reveals issues outside LockNCal’s scope, if modules will not communicate, if results are limited by vehicle condition, or if additional specialized electrical testing is required beyond this service.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8) Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including towing, rental car costs, loss of use, downtime, or lost income).
• If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, liability is limited to the amount paid for the diagnostic service.

9) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect scan equipment to my vehicle, scan applicable modules, and document fault codes/data related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding findings and quotes for additional services (if applicable).

LockNCal Airbag Module Reset – Master Disclosure & Authorization

IMPORTANT: This service involves vehicle safety systems (SRS/airbags/pretensioners). By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) What My Booking Payment Covers (Dispatch + Diagnostic + Attempt)

• Service-call / dispatch fee: The amount paid at booking covers the technician's dispatch to my location, access to the vehicle’s OBD2 port, professional scanning/diagnostics of the SRS system, and a reset attempt, where applicable.
• Not a guaranteed outcome: I understand I am paying for time, travel, diagnosis, and attempted service — not a guaranteed reset, repair, or “no warning light” result.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back this payment for reasons related to the outcome (including non-resettable modules, required module removal, or other faults found), because LockNCal dispatched a technician, performed diagnostic labor, and attempted service as applicable.

2) OBD2 Reset vs. Module Removal vs. Replacement

• OBD2 reset is sometimes possible: In many vehicles, the airbag module can be reset through the OBD2 port. However, some vehicles require removing the airbag module to complete the reset.
• 80/20 estimate (not a promise): Approximately 80% of the time, the reset can be completed via OBD2, and approximately 20% of the time, the module must be removed. This is only an estimate and not a guarantee.
• Some modules cannot be reset: I understand that some airbag modules are not resettable and must be replaced.
• LockNCal cannot confirm requirements until diagnosis: LockNCal cannot determine whether my vehicle requires module removal, replacement, or additional repairs until the vehicle is scanned and diagnosed in person.
• If module removal is required: If diagnosis confirms module removal is required, I may choose:
  • To remove/reinstall the module myself (at my own risk and responsibility), or
  • To request that LockNCal perform module removal/reinstallation as an additional service for an additional charge (if available for my vehicle and situation).
• If replacement is required: If diagnosis indicates my module must be replaced, LockNCal may provide a quote for replacement options (if available). The booking payment remains non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched and diagnostic work has begun.

3) No Refund Policy (Outcome-Based)

• Non-refundable: Once the booking is confirmed, no refund is available.
• No refund due to outcome or third-party diagnosis: No refund will be issued if service cannot be completed due to factors including (but not limited to): my vehicle requiring module removal, module being non-resettable, prior repairs/diagnosis by others, incorrect assumptions at booking, previous collision damage, wiring faults, missing components, aftermarket/non-OEM parts, low battery/voltage issues, additional SRS faults, or conditions that prevent safe/complete service.

4) Safety, Scope Limits, and No Certification of Roadworthiness

• No safety certification: Resetting an airbag module or clearing crash data does not certify that my vehicle is safe, roadworthy, or restored to OEM crash readiness.
• Other repairs may still be required: I understand SRS faults may require additional parts and repairs (airbags, seat belts/pretensioners, sensors, wiring, modules, seat/occupant systems, programming, calibrations, etc.) beyond an airbag module reset.
• Customer responsibility for full repair: I am responsible for ensuring my vehicle is repaired in accordance with OEM procedures and inspected appropriately before operating it.

5) Customer Removal/Reinstall Responsibility & Hold Harmless

• If I choose to remove/reinstall the airbag module or any SRS component myself (or through a third party), I accept full responsibility for any injury, airbag deployment, electrical damage, vehicle damage, improper installation, or resulting faults.
• Release/hold harmless: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless LockNCal, its owners, technicians, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising from customer-performed removal/reinstall or third-party work.

6) Access, No-Show, Unsafe Conditions, and Second-Trip Policy

• Access requirement: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time, accessible, and in a reasonably safe environment for the technician to work.
• No-show / locked / unavailable vehicle: If the vehicle is unavailable, inaccessible, locked with no access, moved, blocked, or conditions are unsafe, the appointment will be cancelled without refund.
• Second trip/return visit: If service cannot be completed in one visit because module removal is required and not completed at the appointment time, replacement parts must be obtained, or additional issues are discovered, I understand a return visit will require a new service-call fee and additional labor charges.
• Cancellation window: None. Once the service is booked, there is no cancellation or refund.

7) Limitation of Liability

  • The VIN (dashboard/door jamb)

  • The seat belt label/tag (if accessible)
  • The dashboard warning lights (SRS/airbag light) are on with the key on
  • Any visible collision damage near the seat/belt mounting area (if applicable)
• Accuracy matters: I understand that incorrect, incomplete, or delayed information can result in quote delays, ordering the wrong parts, rescheduling, or a revised quote.
• A revised quote is normal when new facts arise: If the vehicle configuration, seat position, parts compatibility, or SRS condition differs from what was provided, LockNCal may update the quote accordingly.

3) Quote Delivery and Approval

• Quote timeline: A detailed quote will be provided via text message within 24–48 business hours after booking (excluding weekends/holidays). In some cases, parts verification and availability checks may require additional time.
• Approval required before parts/work: Seat belt replacement work and parts ordering typically require my approval of the quote.
• Additional charges may apply: If additional issues are discovered (for example: deployed pretensioners, damaged mounts, collision-related wiring faults, seat/occupant sensor concerns, or additional SRS faults), LockNCal may provide a revised quote, and I may choose whether to proceed.

• Pre-existing conditions: LockNCal is not responsible for pre-existing damage, prior collision repairs, aftermarket modifications, missing components, electrical/wiring faults, water intrusion, corrosion, or previous work performed by others that may affect the SRS/seat belt system.

• Vehicle access: I agree the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time, accessible (unblocked), and in a reasonably safe environment for the technician to work.

2) Parts Selection Policy (OEM vs. OEM-Equivalent) + No Customer-Supplied Airbags

  • OEM-equivalent airbags (used) sourced through LockNCal’s suppliers.
• Used/OEM-equivalent parts notice: If I choose OEM-equivalent (used) airbags, I understand these parts are previously owned and may show cosmetic wear. Availability can change quickly, and pricing and lead times may vary.
• No customer-supplied airbags: For safety, quality control, and liability reasons, LockNCal does not install customer-supplied airbags or customer-supplied SRS parts under any circumstances.

• Calibration depends on correct installation: If any ADAS sensor, bracket, module, camera, radar, bumper/grille component, mounting point, or related part is damaged, loose, incorrectly installed, or misaligned, I understand the calibration may fail or be impossible until those issues are corrected.

2) Disassembly / Reassembly Is Not Included (Bumpers, Grilles, Trim, Etc.)

• No R&I included: LockNCal and its technicians are not responsible for removing or reinstalling parts to access sensors/cameras/radars (including, but not limited to, bumpers, grilles, trim panels, undercovers, interior panels, brackets, or related components).
• Customer/shop support required: The individual or business requesting service must provide a qualified person on-site to assist with any required removal and installation of parts. If no assistance is available, the calibration may be delayed, stopped, or cancelled.

6) Vehicle Readiness Requirements (Including Plate for Dynamic Calibrations)

• Street-legal requirement for dynamic calibrations: If the calibration requires driving, I understand the vehicle must have a valid, current license plate so the technician can perform the dynamic calibration without delay.
• Power and communication: I understand calibrations can fail due to low voltage, weak battery, charging system issues, blown fuses, wiring faults, module faults, CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication problems, aftermarket electronics, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or other conditions outside LockNCal’s control.

7) Power Policy (Non-Negotiable)

• Good battery required: I understand the vehicle must have a good, working battery. This is non-negotiable. If the battery/voltage is unstable, LockNCal may refuse or stop the service to prevent module damage or inaccurate results.
• Access to power required: I agree to provide access to an on-site power source (standard outlet) so LockNCal can connect its power maintainer/support equipment during calibration and/or programming.
• LockNCal provides the maintainer: I understand LockNCal will bring its own power maintainer, but I must provide access to power at the location.

8) Site/Work Area Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Indoor preferred/outdoor sometimes necessary: LockNCal prefers to perform calibrations indoors due to wind and weather elements; however, I understand indoor space is not always available, and calibrations may need to be performed outdoors when conditions allow.
• Required conditions: The vehicle must be positioned in a flat, level area. The surrounding area must be clean and reasonably free of debris/obstructions that could affect setup.
• “Spacious” defined: I understand “spacious” means there must be approximately 2–3 vehicle parking spaces of clearance around the vehicle being calibrated to safely set up equipment and perform the procedure correctly.
• If site requirements are not met: If the location does not meet these requirements (insufficient space, uneven ground, unclean/unsafe area, no power access, etc.), LockNCal may stop/cancel the service. In that case, the booking remains final and non-refundable.

9) Weather Policy (Reschedule, Not Refund)

• Weather may prevent outdoor calibration: If calibration must be performed outdoors and weather conditions (including rain or unsafe conditions) prevent proper calibration, LockNCal will reschedule the calibration for a later date/time when conditions are suitable and a technician is available.
• No extra charge for weather rescheduling: If calibration cannot be performed due to weather, LockNCal will reschedule at no additional charge.
• No refunds: This is a reschedule policy only; no refunds are issued.

10) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted execution of the booked ADAS calibration procedure, not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee of completion: LockNCal cannot guarantee completion if calibration cannot be performed due to incomplete repairs, improper installation/alignment, missing programming/coding, electrical issues, communication problems, OEM restrictions, software limitations, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: LockNCal and its technicians are not obligated to diagnose the vehicle or provide repair recommendations. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

11) Additional Charges for Programming, Delays, Rework, or Extra Requirements

• Added services may be required: If the vehicle requires programming/coding, additional procedures, or other prerequisites to complete calibration, I understand additional charges may apply.
• Delays create added cost: If service is delayed due to missing prerequisites (repairs not complete, parts not removed, misalignment not corrected, poor site conditions, weak battery, missing plate for dynamic calibration, no power access, etc.), additional charges may apply.
• Approval required: LockNCal will notify me of any additional charges before proceeding. If I decline required charges, service may stop, and the booking remains final and non-refundable.

12) Re-Appointment / Return Visit Policy

• New booking required: If LockNCal cannot complete the calibration due to missing prerequisites or vehicle conditions, and I want LockNCal to return after conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new online appointment and pay a new service fee.

13) If I Don’t Know What the Vehicle Needs – Diagnostic First

• Diagnostic strongly recommended: If I am not 100% sure what the vehicle needs (calibration vs. programming vs. replacement), I understand I should book a Vehicle Diagnostic first so LockNCal can determine the correct path.
• Quote and payment before calibration: After diagnosis (if booked), a proper quote will be provided and must be paid before the technician starts calibration and/or programming.

14) Services Offered (Read Carefully Before Booking)

• Static calibrations currently offered: At this time, LockNCal only provides the following static ADAS calibration services:
  • Front Radar Calibration
  • Windshield Camera Calibration
  • Rear Bumper Corner Sensor Calibration
• Dynamic calibrations: LockNCal can also perform dynamic calibrations (where permitted and where vehicle readiness and legal road requirements are met).
• Booking the wrong service: If I book an ADAS calibration service that LockNCal does not currently offer as a static calibration, the booking remains final and non-refundable. If I am unsure, I understand a diagnostic is strongly recommended.

15) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to outcome or prerequisites: I understand there will be no refund if calibration fails or cannot be completed for any reason, including incomplete repairs, misalignment, missing access/assistance, missing programming/coding, incompatible used/aftermarket parts, poor worksite conditions, electrical/communication issues, software limitations, missing/invalid license plate for required road testing, no power access, weak battery/unstable voltage, or any other factor outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service in good faith. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16) Customer Authorization

• I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or an authorized agent for this vehicle, and that the information I provide is accurate.
• I authorize LockNCal to set up calibration equipment, connect diagnostic tools, connect power support equipment, perform calibration attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding service status, approvals, additional charges, rescheduling due to weather, and service updates.

LockNCal Vehicle Diagnostic (Scan-Only) – Master Disclosure, 1-Hour Limit & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Modern vehicles contain complex, interconnected electronic systems. This service is a scan-only diagnostic focused on the specific safety and security systems LockNCal supports. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Scope of Diagnostic (Scan-Only / Specialty Systems Only)

• Scan-only diagnostic: I understand LockNCal will perform a computer scan of applicable modules and capture fault codes/data related to the system's LockNCal services.
• Systems covered: This diagnostic is limited to:
  • SRS/Airbag systems
  • ADAS systems
  • Anti-Theft / Immobilizer (IMMO) systems
  • Related safety/security modules and communication relevant to those systems
• Not a full-vehicle diagnostic: I understand this service is not intended to diagnose unrelated systems such as engine/drivability (misfires), transmission, HVAC, suspension, general mechanical issues, or general electrical issues outside the covered systems.
• No electrical troubleshooting: I understand that LockNCal does not perform time-intensive electrical diagnostics such as harness tracing, open/short testing, parasitic-draw testing, corrosion hunts, or network-integrity mapping. If my issue requires that type of testing, I may need an automotive electrical specialist.

2) 1-Hour Maximum Service Window (Hard Cap)

• Time limit: I understand this diagnostic service is limited to 1 hour on-site.
• What the hour covers: The hour includes connecting scan tools, scanning applicable modules, documenting results, and providing scan findings related to the covered systems.
• No extended diagnostic work: If the vehicle requires additional time due to communication issues, low voltage, severe network faults, missing modules, or any other complication, I understand LockNCal may stop at the 1-hour limit and recommend next steps. Any further work requires booking and paying for a separate service appointment.

3) What I Will Receive (Report of Findings)

• Scan report/fault list: I understand LockNCal can provide a report/list of fault codes and findings discovered during the scan related to SRS/ADAS/Anti-Theft/IMMO systems.
• Results are condition-dependent: Results depend on vehicle voltage, module communication, prior repairs, and whether unresolved faults prevent certain modules from communicating.

4) No Guaranteed Solutions (Scan Results ≠ Guaranteed Fix)

• No guarantee of root cause: I understand scan results indicate what the vehicle is reporting, but they do not always identify the exact root cause. LockNCal does not guarantee 100% accuracy or an exact repair path from a scan-only diagnostic.
• Network complexity: I understand one failure may hide another. After one issue is repaired, additional issues may appear or become visible once communication is restored.
• Electrical pinpointing excluded: Even if a fault relates to a system LockNCal specializes in, if the underlying cause requires electrical pinpoint testing, I understand LockNCal may not be able to identify exactly where the electrical failure is located under this scan-only service.

5) Relationship to Repairs (Separate Services + Separate Pricing)

• Diagnostic does not include repairs: I understand this booking is for diagnostic scanning time only. Any programming, calibration, parts replacement, or additional service is separate and requires a separate quote and payment approval before work begins.
• Recommendation: If I am unsure whether I need programming, calibration, replacement, or multiple steps, I understand scan-only diagnostic is the recommended first step to reduce misunderstandings and unnecessary charges.

6) Appointment Readiness

• Vehicle access: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time and will be accessible for scan (OBD2 access).
• Voltage and communication limitations: I understand low battery voltage, blown fuses, aftermarket electronics, collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, or prior work performed by others may prevent scanning or limit results.

7) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refunds due to findings or limitations: I understand there will be no refund if the scan reveals issues outside LockNCal’s scope, if modules will not communicate, if results are limited by vehicle condition, or if additional specialized electrical testing is required beyond this service.

LockNCal Airbag Module Reset – Master Disclosure & Authorization

IMPORTANT: This service involves vehicle safety systems (SRS/airbags/pretensioners). By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) What My Booking Payment Covers (Dispatch + Diagnostic + Attempt)

• Service-call / dispatch fee: The amount paid at booking covers the technician's dispatch to my location, access to the vehicle’s OBD2 port, professional scanning/diagnostics of the SRS system, and a reset attempt, where applicable.
• Not a guaranteed outcome: I understand I am paying for time, travel, diagnosis, and attempted service — not a guaranteed reset, repair, or “no warning light” result.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back this payment for reasons related to the outcome (including non-resettable modules, required module removal, or other faults found), because LockNCal dispatched a technician, performed diagnostic labor, and attempted service as applicable.

2) OBD2 Reset vs. Module Removal vs. Replacement

• OBD2 reset is sometimes possible: In many vehicles, the airbag module can be reset through the OBD2 port. However, some vehicles require removing the airbag module to complete the reset.
• 80/20 estimate (not a promise): Approximately 80% of the time, the reset can be completed via OBD2, and approximately 20% of the time, the module must be removed. This is only an estimate and not a guarantee.
• Some modules cannot be reset: I understand that some airbag modules are not resettable and must be replaced.
• LockNCal cannot confirm requirements until diagnosis: LockNCal cannot determine whether my vehicle requires module removal, replacement, or additional repairs until the vehicle is scanned and diagnosed in person.
• If module removal is required: If diagnosis confirms module removal is required, I may choose:
  • To remove/reinstall the module myself (at my own risk and responsibility), or
  • To request that LockNCal perform module removal/reinstallation as an additional service for an additional charge (if available for my vehicle and situation).
• If replacement is required: If diagnosis indicates my module must be replaced, LockNCal may provide a quote for replacement options (if available). The booking payment remains non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched and diagnostic work has begun.

3) No Refund Policy (Outcome-Based)

• Non-refundable: Once the booking is confirmed, no refund is available.

• Customer responsibility for full repair: I am responsible for ensuring my vehicle is repaired in accordance with OEM procedures and inspected appropriately before operating it.

5) Customer Removal/Reinstall Responsibility & Hold Harmless

• If I choose to remove/reinstall the airbag module or any SRS component myself (or through a third party), I accept full responsibility for any injury, airbag deployment, electrical damage, vehicle damage, improper installation, or resulting faults.
• Release/hold harmless: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless LockNCal, its owners, technicians, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising from customer-performed removal/reinstall or third-party work.

6) Access, No-Show, Unsafe Conditions, and Second-Trip Policy

• Access requirement: I agree that the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time, accessible, and in a reasonably safe environment for the technician to work.
• No-show / locked / unavailable vehicle: If the vehicle is unavailable, inaccessible, locked with no access, moved, blocked, or conditions are unsafe, the appointment will be cancelled without refund.
• Second trip/return visit: If service cannot be completed in one visit because module removal is required and not completed at the appointment time, replacement parts must be obtained, or additional issues are discovered, I understand a return visit will require a new service-call fee and additional labor charges.

LockNCal Clockspring (Spiral Cable) Replacement – Master Disclosure, Intake Requirements & Authorization

IMPORTANT: The clockspring (also called spiral cable) is a critical SRS/steering component that connects the driver airbag, horn, steering wheel controls, and other safety systems. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Deposit, Pricing, and What I’m Paying For Today

• Non-refundable deposit to reserve my appointment: The amount paid at booking is a non-refundable deposit used to reserve the scheduled date/time, allocate technician capacity, and begin quote preparation and parts verification.
• Parts are NOT included: The booking deposit does not include parts. The clockspring/spiral cable and any related components (such as steering angle sensor components if integrated, trim/fasteners, or related SRS parts if needed) are billed separately.
• Total price varies by vehicle and scope: Final cost depends on the vehicle’s year/make/model/trim, whether the clockspring is standalone or integrated with other sensors, parts availability, and job complexity (including any additional SRS-related work required for proper operation).

2) Required Information to Provide an Accurate Quote (VIN + Photos)

• Required for quoting: To generate an accurate quote, I agree to provide the requested information promptly after booking. This may include VIN and clear photos of:
  • The VIN (dashboard/door jamb)
  • Dashboard warning lights (SRS/airbag light) with the key on
  • Any steering wheel/airbag-related messages on the cluster (if displayed)
  • Any scan results or codes (if available)
  • Any visible collision/steering column damage (if applicable)
• Accuracy matters: I understand that incorrect, incomplete, or delayed information can result in quote delays, wrong parts selection, rescheduling, or a revised quote.
• A revised quote is normal when new facts arise: If the vehicle configuration, part numbers, sensor integration, or SRS condition differ from what was provided, LockNCal may update the quote accordingly.

3) Quote Delivery and Approval

• Quote timeline: A detailed quote will be provided via text message within 24–48 business hours after booking (excluding weekends/holidays). In some cases, parts verification and availability checks may require additional time.
• Approval required before parts/work: Clockspring replacement and any parts ordering typically require my approval of the quote.
• Additional charges may apply: If additional issues are discovered (for example: damaged steering column components, wiring/connectors, steering wheel/airbag damage, additional SRS faults, or sensor/calibration requirements), LockNCal may provide a revised quote, and I may choose whether to proceed.

4) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• Non-refundable deposit regardless of outcome: I agree no refund is owed if I change my mind, decline the quote, provide incomplete/incorrect information, parts are delayed/unavailable, the scope is more complex than expected, or the vehicle requires additional repairs beyond clockspring replacement.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the booking payment because the deposit reserves capacity and triggers operational and administrative work (quote preparation, parts research, scheduling allocation, and coordination). This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5) Safety, Scope Limits, and No Certification of Roadworthiness

• No safety certification: Replacing a clockspring/spiral cable or addressing related SRS faults does not certify that my vehicle is safe, roadworthy, or restored to OEM crash readiness.
• Other repairs may still be required: I understand SRS/steering faults may require additional repairs beyond the clockspring (driver airbag components, wiring repairs, steering column components, impact sensors, modules, programming, steering angle sensor calibration, ADAS calibration, etc.).
• Pre-existing conditions: LockNCal is not responsible for pre-existing damage, prior collision repairs, aftermarket modifications, missing components, electrical/wiring faults, water intrusion, corrosion, or previous work performed by others that may affect SRS/steering systems.

6) Appointment Readiness, Access, and Service Conditions

LockNCal Module Programming – Master Disclosure, Preconditions, Time Policy & Authorization

IMPORTANT: Module programming depends on correct repairs, correct parts, correct installation, correct vehicle configuration, stable vehicle voltage, and successful communication with the vehicle network. By booking and paying online, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and agree to all terms below.

1) Preconditions (What Must Be True Before Programming Can Succeed)

• Repairs must be complete: I confirm that all necessary repairs related to programming the system have been completed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.
• Correct part and correct installation: I confirm the installed module has the correct part number for my vehicle configuration (year/make/model/trim/options) and is installed properly, with all required connectors, grounds, fuses, sensors, and related components intact.
• Vehicle readiness: I understand programming may fail if the vehicle has low voltage, poor battery condition, wiring/network faults (CAN/LIN/FlexRay), aftermarket electronics, corrosion/water intrusion, collision damage, missing components, or unresolved fault conditions.

2) Scope of Service – Execution Only (Not Diagnostics, Not Guaranteed Outcome)

• Execution service: I understand I am paying for the attempted programming/configuration of a module (execution), not for diagnosis, troubleshooting, or guaranteed results.
• No guarantee the vehicle will be “fixed”: Module programming may or may not resolve my vehicle’s symptoms. Outcome depends on prior diagnostics, repairs, part correctness, installation quality, and vehicle condition, which may be outside LockNCal’s control.
• No diagnostic obligation: I understand the LockNCal technician is not obligated to diagnose the vehicle, identify root causes, or provide repair recommendations if programming fails or cannot be completed. If I want diagnostic services, I must book a separate diagnostic appointment (if available).

3) No Cancellations / No Refunds / Final Sale Policy

• All bookings are final: I understand LockNCal does not offer cancellations or refunds once a service is booked and paid for. All sales are final.
• No refund if programming fails or cannot be performed: I understand there will be no refund if programming fails or cannot be completed due to any factor including (but not limited to) incomplete repairs, incorrect/defective module, incorrect installation, wiring/network faults, low voltage/battery issues, missing components, aftermarket modifications, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, security/immobilizer restrictions, software limitations, locked modules, or any other vehicle condition outside LockNCal’s control.
• Chargeback acknowledgement: I agree not to dispute/charge back the payment because LockNCal reserves capacity and performs professional labor and attempted service. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4) Return Visit / Re-Appointment Policy

• New booking required: If programming cannot be completed and I want a technician to return after repairs or conditions are corrected, I understand I must book a new appointment and pay a new service fee.
• No free follow-ups: I understand LockNCal does not provide free return visits for programming that fails due to vehicle condition, incorrect parts, or incomplete repairs.

5) Time Policy (2 Hours Included + Overage Approval)

• Included time: The booked programming service includes up to 2 hours of on-site programming time.
• Hard stop after included time: If the service exceeds 2 hours for any reason, LockNCal will pause work and request authorization to continue.
• Overage rate: Additional time is billed at $175 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments ($87.50 per half hour).
• If I decline or do not respond: If I decline additional time (or do not respond within a reasonable time), I understand that the service may be stopped and that the booking remains final and non-refundable.

6) Appointment Readiness, Access, and Service Conditions

• Vehicle access: I agree the vehicle will be present at the scheduled location/time, accessible (unblocked), and in a reasonably safe environment for the technician to work.
• Power requirements: I understand stable voltage is critical for programming. LockNCal may require the vehicle battery to be in good condition and/or connected to a power supply/maintainer. If the voltage is unstable, programming may be refused or stopped to prevent damage.

7) Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including towing, rental car costs, loss of use, downtime, or lost income).
• If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service.

8) Customer Authorization

• I confirm I am the vehicle owner or authorized to approve service on this vehicle.
• I authorize LockNCal to connect diagnostic/programming equipment to my vehicle, perform programming attempts, and take reasonable steps necessary to execute the booked service.
• I authorize LockNCal to communicate with me by text message and phone regarding service status, delays, approvals, and any applicable overage charges.
