Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 03/04/2026

Welcome to LockNCal. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, your booking and purchase of any LockNCal services or products, and any interaction with LockNCal technicians. By accessing our website, booking, paying, or receiving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

IMPORTANT: These Terms work together with (and incorporate by reference) our Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any service-specific disclosures and agreements you accept during checkout (including electronic consents and acknowledgments). If there is a conflict, the service-specific disclosure you accepted at checkout controls for that service.

1) Company Information

“LockNCal,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to LockNCal and its owners, technicians, contractors, affiliates, and partners. “You” and “customer” refer to the individual or entity booking, paying for, or receiving services.

2) Services Provided

LockNCal provides specialized mobile and/or mail-in services related to vehicle safety and security systems. Services may include (but are not limited to):

  • ADAS calibration (static and dynamic, where applicable)
  • SRS/Airbag-related services (including resets where applicable)
  • Seat belt services (repair and/or replacement depending on the vehicle and condition)
  • Module programming (including systems related to IMMO/Anti-Theft/Safety when applicable)
  • Automotive locksmith services (keys, programming, all-keys-lost where applicable)
  • Scan-only vehicle diagnostics related to LockNCal services
  • Mail-in SRS airbag module reset services
  • Vehicle reports (e.g., CARFAX) were offered

Service availability varies by vehicle, condition, and location. LockNCal may limit or refuse service where permitted by law for reasons including safety, proof-of-ownership requirements, site conditions, vehicle condition, capability, tools, training, parts availability, or operational constraints.

3) Customer Responsibilities (Accuracy, Access, Site Conditions, Power)

You agree to provide accurate and complete information at booking, including (as applicable): Year/Make/Model, VIN, key status, symptoms, installed parts type, and service location.

You agree to provide:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the vehicle (vehicle present, accessible, not blocked)
  • A safe work environment
  • Flat and level ground is required for calibration accuracy
  • A clean and spacious setup area (ADAS work may require multiple parking spaces of clearance)
  • A vehicle with a good battery and stable voltage (non-negotiable for programming/calibration reliability)
  • When required, access to a power outlet so we can connect support equipment (we may bring a power maintainer, but you must provide power access)

If these requirements are not met, LockNCal may refuse, pause, stop, or reschedule service. You understand your payment remains final and non-refundable as described in our Return & Refund Policy and checkout disclosures.

4) Proof of Ownership / Authorization (Required for Certain Services)

For security-related services (including locksmith services and many IMMO/Anti-Theft/Safety-related programming requests), you may be required to present a current government-issued photo ID and proof of vehicle ownership/authorization (title/registration/insurance/bill of sale/work order as applicable). If you cannot provide acceptable documentation, LockNCal may refuse service. Payments remain final and non-refundable.

5) Pricing, Quotes, and Additional Charges

  • Pricing varies: Pricing depends on vehicle configuration, parts availability, and service complexity.
  • Quotes: When a quote is provided (including by text), it may be based on information you provided. If the vehicle condition differs, the quote may change.
  • Additional charges: Some vehicles require additional procedures, parts, or time to complete the requested service (examples: programming required before calibration, additional keys required for all-keys-lost jobs, additional SRS components required after a collision). If additional items are required, we will present a quote for your approval. If you approve, additional charges must be paid as communicated (often immediately before completion). If you decline the required additional items, service may stop, and all prior payments remain final and non-refundable.

6) Payments (Final Sale / Disputes)

All sales are final. By paying, you agree to LockNCal’s Return & Refund Policy and all service-specific disclosures accepted at checkout.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe or similar). You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services rendered, attempted, reserved capacity, or disclosed limitations. LockNCal will contest improper chargebacks using booking records, accepted disclosures, technician notes, communications, and service evidence.

7) No Cancellations; Rescheduling (Limited)

LockNCal does not offer cancellations once a booking is made and paid. Any reschedule is provided only at LockNCal’s discretion and based on availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and may require additional fees. No refunds are issued for reschedule requests or missed appointments.

Weather exception (ADAS only): If an ADAS calibration must be performed outdoors and weather conditions prevent safe/accurate calibration, LockNCal may reschedule at no additional charge. This is a reschedule policy only and does not create any right to a refund.

8) Scope Limits (Execution, Not Guaranteed Results)

You understand many of our services involve complex vehicle electronics. Successful completion depends on vehicle condition, correct repairs, correct parts, correct installation, stable voltage, and module/network communication. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, you are paying for professional time and attempted/performed service, not guaranteed outcomes or guaranteed resolution of every issue.

LockNCal is not obligated to provide electrical pinpoint troubleshooting, root-cause diagnostics, or repair recommendations unless you book a service that explicitly includes those tasks.

9) Parts Policy (No Returns; OEM/Aftermarket Options)

All parts sales are final. Parts are non-returnable and non-exchangeable through LockNCal.

Unless otherwise specified, LockNCal may use OEM refurbished and/or aftermarket parts. If you request new OEM parts (where available), you must disclose this at booking (e.g., in booking notes), and an adjusted quote may apply. LockNCal is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer and does not claim OEM certification.

10) Limited Labor Guarantee (30 Days – Labor Only)

LockNCal provides a limited 30-day labor/artistry guarantee for labor performed by LockNCal only. This guarantee does not cover parts, pre-existing vehicle conditions, wiring/electrical faults, communication/network faults, corrosion/water intrusion, new accidents, tampering, third-party repairs, or consequential damages (towing, rental cars, downtime, lost income, etc.). Full details are in the Return & Refund Policy and checkout disclosures.

11) Recording / Documentation Consent

LockNCal may photograph, film, and/or audio-record service work for documentation, quality control, training, and marketing/advertising as described in our acknowledgments/disclosures. By booking and paying, you grant the rights described in those disclosures unless you have notified LockNCal in writing in the booking notes before payment (and LockNCal has agreed to proceed under those limitations).

12) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including towing, rental costs, loss of use, downtime, or lost income).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for issues arising from: pre-existing mechanical/electrical conditions, vehicle wiring faults, aftermarket modifications, manufacturer defects, system sensitivity, prior collision damage, water intrusion/corrosion, low voltage/battery issues, module/network communication faults, or prior repairs/diagnosis performed by others.

If LockNCal is found liable for any reason, LockNCal’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue.

All content on this website (including text, logos, graphics, images, videos, and design elements) is the property of LockNCal or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit website content without written permission.

14) Changes to These Terms

LockNCal may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
