Service Rescheduling, Delays & Operational Interruptions Policy

IMPORTANT: LockNCal reserves the right to reschedule any appointment at any time, including on short notice, if LockNCal determines in its sole discretion that conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, impractical, or operationally impossible for the requested service.

This policy works together with LockNCal’s Terms and Conditions, Return & Refund Policy, and Acknowledgments, Disclaimers & Legal Consents. If there is any conflict, the most specific service disclosure accepted during checkout controls for that service.


1) Reasons LockNCal May Reschedule

LockNCal may reschedule an appointment for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions such as rain, lightning, hail, flooding, strong wind, extreme heat, extreme cold, ice, or other hazardous conditions
  • Unsafe road or travel conditions
  • Service vehicle breakdown, accident, or transportation failure
  • Technician illness, injury, emergency, absence, or staffing shortage
  • Equipment failure, tool malfunction, software/platform downtime, OEM server issues, or power-related interruptions
  • Prior appointments are running longer than expected
  • Unsafe, blocked, unprepared, or unsuitable customer site conditions
  • Lack of required power access, workspace, level ground, or vehicle readiness
  • Any other circumstance beyond LockNCal’s reasonable control

2) No Refund – Reschedule Only

If LockNCal reschedules an appointment for any of the reasons above, no refund will be issued. The appointment will instead be moved to LockNCal’s next available date and time, subject to scheduling availability.


3) Customer Availability After LockNCal Reschedules

If the new date/time offered by LockNCal does not work for the customer, the customer may request another available appointment slot from LockNCal’s then-current availability. LockNCal does not guarantee any specific replacement date or time, same-week service, expedited priority, or assignment of a particular technician.

If the customer does not accept or respond to the rescheduling notice within 72 hours, LockNCal may release the appointment slot and place the booking on hold until the customer responds. No refund will be issued.

If the customer responds after those 72 hours, any replacement appointment will be scheduled only from LockNCal’s then-current availability, and any original scheduling priority will be lost.


4) Notice of Rescheduling

LockNCal may notify the customer of any rescheduling or delay by email, phone call, and/or text message using the contact information provided at the time of booking.

I understand LockNCal may reschedule an appointment even on the same day as service, including shortly before the scheduled appointment time, if necessary for safety, operational, or service-quality reasons.


5) Limitation of Liability for Delays and Rescheduling

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockNCal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses or damages arising from a rescheduled or delayed appointment, including but not limited to missed work, lost wages, towing costs, rental vehicle expenses, storage fees, downtime, inconvenience, or other related costs.
